Thirty Three

|Emily's POV|

"That was such amazing food!" Felix's date whoever exclaims, she's going to be his meal tonight as in this is her last day on earth. She's this girl I hate from college who says that I'm nothing more than white trash and that I'm lying about being rich while she's so rich that she owns her own island.

Tonight was supposed to be an ice night with Demetri until I found out that it became a double date with a woman I hate. I was already in a horrible mood because of Emma and her disrespect towards me and that first boyfriend she has.

My phone goes off and I answer it "Hello?" Some guy speaks and nothing makes sense "you want to sell me pork?" Felix and Demetri look at me as Felix's date just takes selfies.

"No" a familiar male voice says "this is officer Peeta" oh, now I know why the voice sounds familiar "your kid Zuri is here in the park and she refuses to go home"

"What?!" Exclaiming in anger "I'll be there soon"

Hanging up, I put my phone in my bag as I wave for a cab "Is everything alright?" Demetri asks

"Zuri's in the park" I go into the cab "it was a great date, I'll call you later"

"I'm coming with" Demetri gets into the cab with me as we are driven to Central Park while Felix kills that human "so tell me about Emma's date?"

"Horrible kid" shaking my head "reminds me of my sister's boyfriend T-Bob, because of him she's banned from the whole state of Oklahoma. To be honest it's why I'm in a bad mood, I'm trying to be a good nanny but Emma is disobeying me since she likes Vincent and I don't know how to help her. Your my first boyfriend!" Covering my mouth when I look at him.

"I'm your first boyfriend?" He asks

"You should have guessed since your also my first kiss" muttering as we are then silent "I'm just lost right now"

"Don't worry mi amor" Demetri wraps his arm around my shoulder "I'm sure you'll figure it out and everything will be alright" paying the cab driver, we go to where Zuri is next to Branchy her tree and Officer Peeta here.

"Hi Officer Peeta" smiling to him which we hear a growl "I've got it from here" looking at Zuri "okay Zuri, this is ridiculous"

"No it's not!" She exclaims then looks me up and down "why do you look nice?" She looks between me and Demetri "you were on a date!"

"What will it take for you to stop coming down to the park late at night and staying up all night on the terrace?" Crossing my arms demanding because this is ridiculous.

"Bring Branchy home" she demands

Looking at Demetri "Let's go buy some shovels"

"Seriously?" He asks as Zuri jumps up and down

"I'm not" shaking my head "doing this with her over and over, besides the tree will go on the terrace" my phone goes off and it's Emma "Emma" hearing a bunch of music "what is that?!"

"Emily!" Emma complains "I invited Vince over and he invited all these people—Put that down!" Hearing something be smashed "Emily! I need you!"
