*School Bell Rings*
FINALLY .... school is finally over because if I had another final exam or homework I would of gone crazy. But anyway I'm happy that school is over.
As I'm walking down the hall towards the lockers I see April O'Neil and Casey Jones, my only two friends in the school.
"Hey April,Hey Casey." I said as I was opening my locker.
"S'up Rachel." said April as she was texting in this turtle shell cell phone.
"Hey Ray, how you doing." said Casey as he was grabbing his stuff from his locker.
"Nothing much just trying to get out of this prison." I said as I was putting my school stuff in my backpack.
Later my I-Phone 6 was vibrating in my left jean pocket and it was my grandfather.
I answer it.
{Rachel} - "Hi grandad"
{Rachel's grandfather} "Rachel are you okay...is school over"
{Rachel} - "Yes grandad , I'm fine and yes school is over."
{Rachel's grandfather}- "okay that's good, I wanna tell you that your grandmother went to a business meeting in Brooklyn,NY so I have to pick her up at 8:30 ....if you're going out with your friends then go to the house and grab $20 dollars and enjoy.........and before you hang up, call me and tell me what your doing and if your okay."
{Rachel} - "Yes grandad I got the message and don't worry I'll be fine."
{Rachel's grandfather} -"Okay be careful and don't talk to strangers...love you bye."
{Rachel} - "Bye"
The conversation ended
"Wow who was that." said Casey.
"My grandfather." I said.
"You're grandfather is overprotected isn't he?" said Casey.
"Ow." said Casey after getting a punch in the shoulder by April
"No duh.. since my mother disappeared when I was 6 months old, my grandparents has became overprotective." I said in a frown.
"So what are guys gonna do?" I questioned April and Casey.
"Nothing gonna go grab a bite, wanna come." Casey said.
"Sure, is Irma gonna come with us." I said.
"Oh yeah I'll call..." said April but was interrupted by Casey.
"Oh no April, don't invite Irma.. she's weird." said Casey.
"Come on Casey, let's not be mean to her." said April.
"April, she's nasty and gross." said Casey with an grossed out face.
"Fine we won't bring her." said April.
"Cool .." said Casey in a relaxed voice.
As we head out of the school, we first went to my house to leave my backpack and get some money for lunch. My house is next to a blocked dark alley. It's scary but the dark alley is a fast away to get to Chinatown,NY so you if wanna go to Chinatown fast then jump over the bricked wall and then your in front of Chinatown,NY. After leaving my stuff and getting some money for lunch ..we headed out to Chinatown,NY.
*Few minutes of walking around Chinatown,NY*
We later entered into this small Japanese noodle store.
"Hello Mr. Murakami." said April as we enter the store.
"Ah, hello April and Casey." said Mr.Murakami happily.
"Oh Mr. Murakami, this our friend Rachel." said April presented me to Mr.Murakami
"Hello Mr. Murakami ..nice to meet you." I said with a smile.
"Hello Rachel, nice to meet you too." Mr Murakami said in a happy voice.
"So tell me children what would you guys like...ah I know... Pizza Gyoza." said Mr. Murakami.
"Yes please." said April
*Mr. Murakami later started making them*
"Uh April what are pizza gyoza." I said to April.
"Oh their like dumplings but they taste like pizza... But they're so good." said April.
*Few minutes later*
"There you go." said Mr. Murakami has he gave us in 3 plates.
"Thank you." I said to Murakami
"Your welcome." said Murakami
I just stared at the pizza gyoza. I got a fork and the pizza gyoza met the fork. I still stare at the pizza gyoza. Later I took a bite.
"Wow ..this is good." I said to April.
"Well it's Murakami's famous plate in the restaurant." said April chewing on her food.
*1 hour later*
After paying for the food April,Casey and me were just walking around Chinatown,NY. The sunny sky was kinda turning to turn orange so a few moments later the sky turned like the sunset color.
"So what guys gonna do." I said to Casey and April
"Well we're gonna hangout with some other friends." said April
"Oh ...your secret friends." I said to April.
"Uh yeah... how do about this." said April
"Irma." I replied.
"Right...don't believe Irma she's crazy...she's obsessed about wanting to see our friends." said Casey.
"Okay then." I said kinda confused.
After hanging out in Chinatown with April and Casey for almost an hour I decided to go home.
April and Casey insisted to walk me home and I agree.
We were later in front of my house, i thanked April and Casey for walking me home and they left.
As I was getting my house keys inside my purse I noticed Casey's pizza gyoza to-go bag in my purse so I decided to go give it back to him.
As I'm finding Casey and April in the next block ..I heard their voices in an alley so I went through the alley. As I was getting the to go bag from my purse and later I said,
"Hey Casey I forgot to give your... Oh .." I said to him and I later noticed four teenaged sized turtles next to him and April.
Everything went into silence for a few minutes until I heard April's voice.
"Uh hi...Rachel." said April in awkward smile and voice.
I was just so shocked of seeing four teenage size turtles a few feet away from me.
Right now everything around us went into silence...silence of awkwardness.
