Izuku woke up with the taste of sick in his mouth. Memories from the night before flowed in bit by bit, the last thing he remembered was a glimpse of Katsuki in his hero gear. Slowly getting up, Izuku reached for the nightstand and grabbed his cigarettes and lighter. Stretching his arms, he stepped in front of the balcony door and opened it. He guessed it was early morning as he parted his dry lips and slipped on a cigar.

Leaning on the railing, he lit the barb up, inhaling sharply as the smoke reached his lungs. He sighed, the shirt he had on was short-sleeved, exposing his cuts. For a brief moment, his mind flashed to the moment he had first seen Eri's arms. Then he thought of Eri, it had been a while since he'd seen her... she had been staying with the Pussycats, Aizawa felt it would be a good idea for her to hang around with kids her age, and Kota wouldn't mind the company.

Izuku caught his whole body leaning on the railing, which led him to realize he was getting lightheaded and half the cigar was burnt, the ashes threatening to let go. He was determined to finish it though and that's exactly what he did. The greenette didn't like to rush it but he saw Aizawa's car pulling up to the driveway, he could put two and two together, he knew Katsuki was out on patrol with him. At last, putting the cigar out, he stepped back inside. Then went to the bathroom.

After that, grabbing his phone from under his pillow, he checked the time. "6.14 AM" He read out, his stomach growling. "I'm hungry... maybe I could try some breakfast..? There shouldn't be a lot of people in the kitchen..."

Unlike usual, he took the elevator, just as the doors were closed, someone's hand peeked through the tight gap, and the doors opened to reveal Eijiro. "Mornin'! Sup, Izu-bro?"

Too loud.

Just as Izuku was about to give him a wave, not trusting his voice, he saw the redhead's eyes trail to his arms, so he looked down and immediately regretted leaving the room. I completely forgot about my T-shirt. Shit! He wanted to run back to his room as he looked down and took a step forward but a hand on his shoulder stopped him. "Hey man, sorry if I made you uncomfy... I was just taken back 'nd all, it's alright, you don't have to change, kinda hot here!"

Maybe it was because Izuku had never paid proper attention that he hadn't noticed before but he saw the way Eijiro's eyes pinned on his own arm, faded white lines stood almost invisible but he was still wearing a tank top. "You don't have to hide anything, we've all had shit to deal with. And I'm pretty sure no one would say anything." Eijiro reassured him, giving him a smile that was so genuine, that Izuku could only smile back as he just pressed the button to go down. "Thank you, Eijiro-kun."

"Always."

They went down in a comfortable silence after that, once they walked out, Eijiro spotted Katsuki looking worn out and slouching on the couch, Izuku on the other hand had one thing in mind as he gulped down.

Okay, so... maybe the kitchen was a little more crowded than he'd assumed...

Thinking a glass of water would do, he strolled over to the fridge and took an unopened bottle of water, his eyes devouring everything in sight as he let the water set on his stomach, his throat feeling satisfied after having smoked as first thing in the morning. He was starving, so hungry he could just eat, and eat and eat till he threw up.

Izuku wasn't sure why, he hadn't felt that way since... he just wasn't sure. He had no idea he could ever just feel hungry to this extent anymore. He spotted Shoto and Tenya who seemed to be making sandwiches and arguing over what to put inside. Izuku's stomach hurt, it was as if the organ was sinking in on itself. Then his left side ached, he chose to brush it off as nothing and reached for the cupboards, looking for the cereal Denki adored.
