Getting Some Rest

~~~Catherine's pov~~~
After the team left the Lighthouse via secret underground tunnels, I took the time to look into the structural integrity of the fallout shelter.
I found various plans on computers and files pertaining to the construction of the Lighthouse, including a log of all the exterior defenses. Safe to say this place is a worthy opponent to the end of the world.
I discovered all this within maybe, a half hour of sitting in the command center with Daisy and Loki. Makes you wonder how much more I could uncover if I set aside a dedicated few hours.
As I looked at the large monitors, I reviewed some more of the building plans. "If we're going to be stuck here for the time being, it's good to know that it's fortified. It's kind of the perfect place to hide out." I commented, looking over at Daisy who was working on something on the main computer a few feet away. "What are you up to?"
"Setting up an alert. Even though the team has been out in the world for like, four minutes, it'll let us know if one of them is spotted." She answered, not lifting her eyes from the screen.
"It has been much longer than four minutes-" Noah began to state before I cut him off.
"Figure of speech, Noah."
And that's the moment when everything went from weird, to just absolutely crazy.
"Wait. What?"
The sheer fear in Daisy's voice, made my anxiety spike. Quickly, I walked over to her seat by the smaller computer and looked over her shoulder to see what was going on. "What is it?"
She looked up at me, eyes wide. "Cat, we're not just wanted. We're most wanted. Top of the list. All the lists." She confirmed her statement by showing me the FBI watch list on the computer.
The entire team was listed.
This revelation made my blood run cold. "What?"
At hearing Daisy's words, Loki walked over to us, placing a hand on my shoulder from behind me. "Are our names there as well?"
She looked over everything again, typing furiously, but came up with nothing and sighed in relief. "No. It looks like you guys are good. I mean, not good. But the government has pretty much given up their chase on you from what I'm seeing."
I breathed a huge sigh of relief, the worries of being found by the government slowly dissipating.
Loki was relieved as well, dropping his hand from my shoulder to hold my hand tightly.
Before we found out I was pregnant, hiding from the FBI and other law enforcement didn't seem like such a huge deal. If we got arrested, the worst that could happen would be being thrown in a cell for a few hours before we just escaped.
Now, not so much.
If the government or the UN knew I was pregnant with Loki's child, the testing and experiments would be endless. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they killed me to kill the baby.
Another possibility that my dad posed to us was that if we were ever found out, the government could try to take the baby away and either kill her or recruit her to be some kind of terrorist, God forbid Hydra got their hands on her.
That's why we hadn't had contact with almost anyone these past few months. Other than my dad, no one had heard from us in at least a year.
"It looks like there is still one task force on you guys, though," Daisy added, still looking through the computer. "Does the name Thaddeus Ross ring any bells?"
