It felt weird to be watching the Internationals battles without James, and without the fear of being pulled from the hat.
But that was what it was like for Orla the next morning, as she watched Mackenzie and Shantel battle. Two Elites.
"No matter what, we're getting a new face on the Internationals team," Orla shrugged.
"Hopefully, it's the lesser of two evils," West's eyes widened.
Once the the two girls had battled, Orla knew who she was voting for. Mackenzie was good, but Shantel was amazing.
"Okay, who do you guys think it should be?" Kate asked.
All hands went to Shantel.
"Looks like it's you, Shantel," Kate gave a tight lipped smile. "Congratulations."
Shantel smiled and Orla tried to see some good in her.
Maybe she would be okay?

Chloe was next, going against Jen, an Elite girl.
Jen went first.
She was very good. She had a lot of sass in her dancing, but also a lot of good moves that she hit on the beat.
Orla gave Chloe a reassuring smile as they watched the dance.
"I know Chloe's a phenomenal dancer but Elite dancers are killer."
She had to clap as Jen did two arials in a row and then finished, hands on her hips.
She clapped more for Chloe, however, on her turn.
It had been ages since Orla had seen Chloe dance a solo, so she had forgotten how good the girl was just by herself.
She had so happy for her. She had improved so much. Had come so far from the small girl who Orla had to stand up for and teach choreography to.
She finished her solo facing Lucien strongly, and everyone on the TNS side clapped and whooped and cheered for her.
"Chloe is definitely the winner of this competition. I'm happy to vote for her."
"Chloeeeeeee!" Everyone from The Next Step and Elite pointed to the girl who doubled over in excitement.
Orla was so proud of her.

Nick versus Thalia was a different ball game. Nick was a very strong, very good and very big Elite dancer.
He also had some good tricks.
"I'm a little nervous because Nick just did a layout and I can't do a layout," Thalia said worriedly.
However, when she went, there was no stopping her.
Orla had never really seen her do a proper solo, putting her heart into all her moves. But this time, that's what she did, and it was amazing.
"I really hope Thalia makes A-Troupe," Eldon smiled. "First of all, because she's an amazing dancer, but it is also really nice having Thalia around."
