AHHHHHHH I'M SO HAPPY TO BE BACK!!!

-NOVEMBER/ 2 MONTHS SINCE THE INCIDENTS-

Charlie's POV:

I can't wait to see everyone today! Nick and Tara planned a day out with everyone, we're going to the beach.

"Charlie! C'mon, you need to hurry up!" Tao whines as I search for my shoes.
"I'm trying! I can't find my shoes!" I yell while searching around my room.

I FOUND THEM!!

"GOT THEM!!" I squeal.
"HURRY UP THEN!!" Tao squawks.

Isaac meets me and Tao outside my house.

"So, when's Nick getting here?" Tao asks, he's inpatient.
"He'll be here in a few minutes, Tao!" I huff and fold my arms.

I start zoning out but before I can, I hear Tao whispering to Isaac.

"What's his problem?" Tao whispers to Isaac.
Isaac just shrugs his shoulders and gives me a worried look.

I don't feel well and Tao isn't helping.

"You know, if you're going to day something about me, you should say it to my face." I stare at Tao. He looks annoyed, probably at what I just said.
"Why are you in such a mood!?" Tao yells.
"I-"

Before I can answer, Nick comes over to us.

"Hi, Isaac. Hey, Tao." Nick smiles and walks over to me.

"Hey, Pretty." Nick kisses my cheek.
"Hey." My voice is croaky.
"What's wrong?" Nick asks, pulling me towards him and off the wall.
"I'm fine, Nick. I just feel a bit ill."
"Ok! Just tell me if you feel worse later, ok?"
"I will, don't worry!"

Nick kisses me and we all begin walking to the train station where Tara, Darcy, Elle and Sahar agreed to meet us.

We get to the station and spot the girls talking.

"Charlie!!" Darcy squeals and runs over to me.
"Hey, Darcy."

Darcy pulls me into a hug.

"We've missed you! Where have you been?" Tara asks. Darcy lets go of me.
"Well, Nick and I went to Menorca a few months ago with his family so we've been quite busy." I fake laugh.

Everyone starts speaking again, except me and Isaac.

Isaac walks over to me and pats my shoulder.

"You alright? You seem a bit off."
"I tried telling you earlier but Tao was being annoying. I just feel a bit sick, I'll be ok." I let out a sarcastic laugh.
Isaac nods, "Sorry about Tao. He's just being really annoying today."

Isaac hugs me. I hug him back.

"Hey, guys! The train is here." Nick pats my head.
"Yeah, ok!" Isaac smiles and walks away.

Nick gives me a look of annoyance, but not towards me.

"What is going on with you and Tao? He keeps asking me questions about you. I haven't answered him though!" Nick looks back at Tao then back at me.

My head just falls onto his shoulder.

"C'mon, Char. Want me to koala carry you?" Nick asks, trying to comfort me.
I nod my head in reply.

Nick picks me up under from under my legs. I wrap my arms around his chest and lie my head on his shoulder.

We get to the beach and everyone goes to our main spot, next to the rocks.

"What's everyone getting for lunch?" Elle asks.

Everyone talking about food makes me feel even more sick.

"Char, do you still feel sick or are you well enough to eat lunch?" Nick asks, pulling onto his lap.
"I still feel really ill. Sorry."
"No apologies, Char."

Nick knows that when I feel sick I can't eat. That's why he's asking.

"Charlie, what do you want, Love?" Elle asks in her soothing and calm voice.
"I-I erm- I'm not very hungry. I feel a bit ill. I'll eat something later, I promise."

Elle nods.

"Nick, I feel really dizzy."
"Oh, Char. C'mere." Nick kisses my cheek.

He pulls me closer to his chest and cradles me in his arms.

"Charlie, what is going on with you!?" Tao yells.
"W-What?" I can't speak well because of how dizzy I feel.
"You were literally ignoring me this morning! And now your cuddling with you boyfriend!? Really!?"
"T-Tao, h-hang on..."

I start tearing up. Nick notices and pulls me closer to his chest.

"What is your problem!?" Nick yells.

Nick's POV:

"What is your problem!?" I yell.

Tao just stares at me.

"What is your problem with us!? He already said he doesn't feel well and you're not making him feel any better!" I yell louder.
"You aren't helping him either! You're just there to make out with him every five minutes!"

WHAT!?

"H-He does h-help." Charlie murmurs.

Tao scoffs.

"Mate, what do you want from us!?"
"I want an answer to why Charlie thinks he can ignore his best friend and then start cuddling with his boyfriend!"

I can't help but laugh.

Charlie's POV:

Tao is getting on my nerves.

The dizziness has calmed down a bit.

"Tao! Do you really think I was ignoring you!?" I raise my voice a tiny bit.
"That's what it looked like!"
"Do you want to know something? Nick is one of the only people who understands how I feel! So I'm sorry I want him with me when I feel sick! And I'm sorry that I don't want to spend ever second of my life with you!"
"So, the reason you were getting angry at me this morning was because you didn't have your little boyfriend beside you!? You're ridiculous!" Tao laughs.

What!?

Nick's POV:

TAO IS REALLY GETTING ON MY NERVES!!

"YOU KNOW WHAT TAO, ME AND CHARLIE ARE LEAVING!! YOU CANNOT KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT FOR 5 MINUTES!! I WASN'T GOING TO SAY ANYTHING BUT AFTER WHAT YOU SAID, YOU CAN LISTEN!! YOU'VE MADE ME AND CHARLIE FEEL MISERABLE AT TIMES AND YOU DON'T NOTICE BECAUSE YOU'RE SO SELF-OBSESSED!!"

I look down at Tara who looks terrified.

"Sorry, Tara. I know we've been planning this for weeks."

Tara nods.

"We'll go out again soon, I promise."

I phone Mum and ask her if she can pick us up. She says yes.

"It's ok, Char. My mum is coming to get us." I whisper into Charlie's ear, still koala carrying him.

When we get into my room, we get changed.

"Nick?"
"Mhmm?"
"Can we sleep? I'm really tired."
"Yeah. Are you ok?"
"Bit shaky, that's all."
"C'mon then."

We climb into bed and snuggle up.

Charlie lies his head on my chest and our legs intertwine. Charlie puts his arm over my chest and plays with my hair, I play with his hair too.

"I love you, Char."

He's fallen asleep.
