Nick's POV:

It's been 3 weeks since Tao told everyone about our fight, I still don't forgive him.

Me and Charlie walk through the school gates, hand in hand.

I hear loads of people cheering, laughing and whispering. It's annoying.

I squeeze Charlie's hand twice, telling him I'm getting annoyed.

"I'm right here, Nick. You'll be ok." Charlie whispers in my ear before kissing my cheek.

Me and Charlie sit down in our seats and I immediately catch Sai, Christian and Otis staring at us.

"Char, I'll -erm- be back in a second..." I whisper and kiss his head.

I know it's a bit weird for us to just kiss each other in the middle of form, but we don't care.

I stand up and walk over to the boys.

"Hey." I sit beside Sai.
"Mm." Christian looks away from me.
"What is your problem? I came over here to apologise!" I stand back up.
"You ignored us for 3 weeks!" Christian stands up too.

I immediately feel a rush of guilt pass through me.

"I'm sorry! I was just-"
"Being self-obsessed? Stressing about rugby? Worrying about Charlie? Ignoring your best friends for almost a month! You only care about yourself, Nick! No wonder your brother hates you!"
"That's unfair, Christian! You know I was upset!" I yell.

Sai stands up and shoves Christian's shoulder.

"Cut it out, mate! You know he's going through stuff, so leave his family and Charlie out of this!"

I can't help but feel myself smile.

Otis just stares at us.

Why oh why am I doing this...

Me and Charlie are sitting on the bench outside when Tao walks up to us.

"What do you want?" I ask, standing in front of Charlie.
"I just want to talk to you both!"
"We have nothing to say to you-"
"I WANT TO APOLOGISE NICK!" He yells.

This'll be interesting.

"Carry on then. Apologise for being a jerk and possibly getting me kicked out the rugby team! Apologise for upsetting Tara! Apologise for ruining everyone's day with your drama!" I yell and stand in front of him.

He cowers back.

"Go on." I smirk at him.

Tao stares at me.

"I'm so sorry, Charlie."

Charlie stands up and I throw my arm in front of him.

He leans forward and kisses my lips before whispering in my ear, "It's ok, Nick."

I nod my head and he walks in front of me. Tao steps closer to Charlie, I wrap my arms around his waist and pull him towards me.

"Right, I'm not going to hurt him." Tao scoffs.
"And how do I know that? You could tell anyone anything, like you told everyone about us fighting."
"Get over it."

Tao places his hand on Charlie's shoulder, he flinches.

"What do you do to him!?" Tao yells, pointing at me.

Charlie turns round and throws himself into my chest.

"Mm. I don't think it's me who's done anything, Tao."
