Nick's POV:

Mum's decided to keep me and Charlie off school for a while. Until things have been sorted out.

"Morning!!" Diane smiles at me, drinking her tea.
"Morning!"

I walk into the kitchen and find Tillie sitting on the floor with Nellie.

"Hey!!" I smile down at her.

"Hm?" it takes her a few seconds to understand, "NICK!!"

I pull her up and give her a tight hug.

"She is literally mini you!!" Charlie laughs, walking over to us and patting our heads.

I chuckle.

"Good morning to you too!"

He laughs.

"Nick, someone texted me earlier." He whispers.
"Who?"
"Christian."

I swear my heart just stopped.

"W-What?"
"Yeah."
"What'd he say?"
"He just said that he's sorry and that he still wants to be friends."
"Why'd he text you and not me?"
"He texted last night but your phone was dead."

I grab my phone and turn it on.

And he was right.

Christian did text.

N-"Soooo!! Can you all come to dinner tomorrow?? We didn't celebrate my birthday so I thought we could go out together tomorrow!!"

T-"YES!! WE NEEDDDD TO!!"

E-"We thought you'd never ask Nicholas!!!"

D-"A DINNER WITH THE GAYS??? COUNT ME IN!!!"

TX-"Sure!! It's boring at mine anyway!!"

S-"SORRY GUYS!! I JUST OPENED MY PHONE AND YES!!! I'LL COME!!!"

I-"I just need to check with my mum!"
I-"UPDATE: She said YES!!"

N-"Love you guys so muchhhh!! 🥺"

"So, they can come?" Charlie asks, taking a sip out of my Cola can.
"By the looks of it, they can all come!!"

Imogen.

"Should I invite Imogen?" I ask, nervously.
"Sure!! It'd be nice to have her there!"

I go onto Instagram again and text Imogen.

N-"Hey!! I was just wondering if you wanted to come to dinner with me and my friends tomorrow, for my late birthday thingy? I know you don't know them really well so feel free to say no x"

My face lights up as she instantly replies.

I-"OFC I'LL COME!!! AND I'd love to meet ur friends x"
N-"Tomorrow night? x"
I-"Text me the address and I'll be there!! x"

And I do text her the address.

"I'm assuming she said yes?" Charlie looks up at me, smiling.
"What makes you think that?"
"You're smiling?"

Well, that's that out of the way.

"Hello, boys! You've been in here for quite a while. Anything in particular that's got your attention?" Mum asks, walking into the kitchen and sitting with us.
"I'm going out for dinner tomorrow. You know, as the late birthday thingy!"
