Nick's in his first year at university and Charlie's in Year 13!!

Charlie: 17 years old  -  Nick: 19 years old

Charlie's POV:

I get to see Nick today! Mum isn't very happy that I'm spending Dad's money on train tickets, but it was Dad who gave me the money.

"Charles." Tori says from my doorway.
"Ok, seriously, stop scaring me."
"Are you excited? To see Nick?"
"Obviously! It's been way too long!"

Just the thought of seeing Nick gets me excited, even though it's only 08:12.

Tori scoffs, "It's been 5 weeks."
"5 weeks too long!"

Tori gives a slight smile before walking off to her room, a very excited Becky chasing after her.

"Hi, Charlie! Bye, Charlie!" Becky cheers before running off.

It's now 10:07 and I've got 3 minutes until my train leaves.

Luckily, I'm just at the gate.

I show the guy my ticket before running onto the train and finding a seat.

"Er- sorry! Can I sit here?" Someone asks as I sit down.
"Yeah."

The guy sits beside me and pulls out his phone, not looking anywhere near me.

He goes onto Instagram and pulls up...my account?

I stay silent, not daring to make a sound.

The train goes to a holt as it pulls up at the next stop.

"Oh for f-" The guy's phone falls to the floor.

He leans down to grab it. His hood falls down and my heart stops.

"Charlie Spring."

Harry Greene...

"I-I need to go." I panic and climb out of my seat.

I make my way over to an empty seat across the carriage.

What am I going to tell Nick!?

Nick's POV:

"Dude, calm down!" My roommate, Oliver, yells.

I'm that excited, I can't keep still.

"Connor, mate! Get him to sit still!" Oliver shouts to the kitchen where my other roommate, Connor, is stood making toast.

He walks through with a piece of toast, shoving it in my mouth and pushing me onto the couch.

"I know Charlie's your favourite person in the whole world-" Connor gets cut off.
"Universe." Oliver corrects him.
"Whatever. Anyway, when's he even getting here?"

I pause.

"Connor, mate, drive me to the train station!" I stand up.
"Why?"
"BECAUSE CHARLIE'S TRAIN GETS HERE IN 2 MINUTES AND I'M STILL HERE!!"

And with that, we rush out the house and into Connor's car.

As we're driving, I get a text from the group-chat.

N: Nick   C: Connor   O: Oliver   B: Brooke   K: Kara   A: Aria

B-"GOOD LUCK NICKY!! XX"
K-"HAVE FUN AND REMEMBER TO BRING HIM BACK SO WE CAN MEET HIM!!"
A-"🥳"
O-"Have fun dude!! not too much fun tho ):
N-"💙"

Just as we pull up to the train station, I tell Connor me and Charlie will get a taxi back.

"You sure?" He asks.
"Yeah! I was gonna get us drinks first."
"Alcohol?"
"Obviously not, moron."
"Mm."

I say goodbye before running to the gate Charlie will be getting off at.

The train doors open and my heart skips a beat.

There he is.

My Charlie is finally at Leeds!!
