Meeting Nick's roommates?

SORRY I NEVER POSTED LAST NIGHT!! Sorry this is short again x

Charlie's POV:

Nick has dragged me to a local coffee shop nearby.

"Seriously, why so many drinks?" I ask as Nick gets handed 8 drinks.
"For my roommates and us."
"You have 6 roommates!?"
"Yep. It's not as bad as you think."
"Mhm."
"Trust me! By the way, they want to meet you."
"Yeah?"
"Yeah."
"But you know I'm not good at meeting new people. We learned that last year."
"They are nothing like Jacob and Leah!" He reassures me.

I nod my head and help him carry drinks.

The taxi drops us off and we head inside, anxiety building up inside me.

"You ok?" Nick asks, taking my free hand.
"Mhm."
"Nervous?"
"Maybe."

He kisses my cheek.

"They're nice. I promise." He smiles down at me.

I swear this boy's gonna kill me.

We walk through the halls and through doors until Nick stops and kisses me on the cheek. I look through the glass doors and see 4 people on a couch and 2 people in a kitchen.

"You ready to meet them?" Nick asks.
"Yeah."

Just before Nick pushes open the door, a guy points towards us, the rest looking too.

Nick pushes the door open and everyone gasps.

"Guys, come on. Stop being dramatic." Nick laughs.

Some guy comes towards us, smiling.

"So, Charlie Spring, what's Nick like in-"
"Oscar, don't start with your nonsense! Charlie's just here!" A girl shouts at him.

His names Oscar. Good to know.

Oscar laughs and throws himself back down on the couch.

"Ignore him. He's an absolute idiot." Another girl sighs.
"HEY! I'M RIGHT HERE!" Oscar yells.
"Get over it." She flips him off.

This is awkward.

"Guys! Be smart for once and let them sit down!" Some girl says from the kitchen.

Nick runs over to the kitchen and grabs 3 chairs for us and two others. He puts them in front of the couch.

He puts out his hand for me and I take it, following him over to the chairs.

I get sat on Nick's lap, well, pulled onto Nick's lap.

Two girls sit in the chairs beside us, while a girl and 2 boys sit on the couch.

"Who's gonna introduce themselves first? Or am I gonna have to do it?" Nick asks, laughing.

Oscar puts his hand up.

"I'm Oscar. I play professional basketball and I coach a kids team for a side job. I won't be here much since I have a part-time job and I have a record of staying with friends after getting drunk." He smiles at me, knowing what he's just said is useless information.

Before anyone notices, he's getting pushed out of they way.

"I'm Kara! I'm studying art and I also have ADHD so if you notice anything weird from me, you know why."

I nod, a smile plastering my face.

"I'm Aria! I have emetophobia and I'm studying chemistry, which doesn't help my emetophobia whatsoever."

That's a harsh phobia to have.

"I'm Brooke! I'm studying music, since I play the guitar. I also do karaoke nights every Friday night at the local bar down the street."
"You play guitar?"
"Yeah! I have played since I was 8."
"Cool! I've been playing drums since I was 9."
"I've always wanted to learn drums! Could you maybe teach me?"
"Yeah! That would be nice."

She seems cool.

"I'm Connor. I'm studying sports science, if that's how you word it right." He laughs.

It's only been half an hour and I already love these people!

"Everyone can agree with me when I say that Nick doesn't shut up about Charlie!" Brooke points at me, "Like, we literally know what shampoo you use because of how much he talks!"

We all start laughing, Nick's face bright red.

"Caught you there, mate!" Connor jokes.
"Shut it! The amount of videos I see you watch of-" Nick gets cut off by Connor darting over to him and covering his mouth.

Everyone breaks into different conversations, me being dragged into a conversation with Brooke.

"Do you want a drink?" She asks.
"Sure!"

I follow her into the kitchen space.

"What'd you want?" She grabs two cups.
"What're you having?"
"Coffee."
"I'll have tea."

She lets out a laugh before boiling the kettle.

"So, you and Nick have been going out for 3 years?" 
"I think so? I don't really know when we got together." I don't even know anymore.
"What do you mean?"
"Well, he came to my house on April 18th and told me he liked me but needed time to figure himself out."
"So April 18th is your anniversary?"
"I guess so."

The kettle clicks and she pours our drinks.

I wait for it to cool down before taking a sip.

A pair of hands wrap around my waist and I immediately know who it is.

"Nick!" I whine.

He chuckles.

"How do you put up with him?" Brooke asks me with a laugh.
"You get used to it."

He kisses my cheek before walking off to his friends again.

Me and Brooke just start laughing again.

God, these people are cool!

"We need to have a movie marathon this week." Aria squeals out of excitement.
"Ari, calm down. It's basically Charlie's decision, since he's the one staying for a week." Brooke calms her down.
"BUT STILL! WE SHOULD!!"
"Aria, calm down! You're so loud!"
"Sorry!"

Brooke looks at me.

"So, what'd you wanna do this week? Your choice." She smiles.
"Er-"

God help me.

"I don't mind."

Aria stand up.

"IT'S SETTLED! WE'RE HAVING A MOVIE MARATHON THIS WEEK!!" She screams.

Brooke face palms, shaking her head repeatedly.

"We're going to go insane."

Everyone starts laughing.

It's not as bad as I thought.
