—— Jungwon
As I sat on the couch, waiting for Seori to finish her shower, I opened the shared journal, feeling inspired by her words and the love we shared. With a pen in hand, I began to write, pouring my thoughts onto the pages.
"Dear Seori,
Today may have been chaotic, but in the midst of it all, your presence was the calm in the storm. Your strength and resilience never cease to amaze me, and I'm grateful to have you by my side.
I know the road ahead may not be easy, but I want you to know that I'm here for you, no matter what. Together, we can conquer anything that comes our way.
Thank you for being you, for bringing light into my life even on the darkest days. You're more than just a dreamer; you're my reality, my anchor in a sea of uncertainty.
I hope this journal serves as a reminder of the love we share, a tangible representation of the memories we've created together. And as we continue on this journey, know that my heart belongs to you, now and always.
With all my love,
Jungwon"Closing the journal, I set it aside, feeling a sense of peace wash over me. Whatever the future held, I knew that as long as Seori and I were together, we could weather any storm. And with that thought in mind, I eagerly awaited her return, ready to wrap her in my arms and cherish the moments we shared.
As Seori emerged from the bathroom, clad in one of my oversized t-shirts and shorts, my heart skipped a beat at the sight of her. She looked effortlessly beautiful, and I couldn't help but feel a surge of affection towards her.
Handing her the journal, I watched eagerly as she eagerly opened it, her eyes scanning the words I had written. A smile tugged at her lips, but I noticed the hint of tears glistening in her eyes.
"Hey now, none of that," I teased, gently poking her side to lighten the mood. "I wrote that to cheer you up, not make you cry."
She laughed, wiping away the tears that threatened to spill over. "It's just so sweet," she admitted, her voice soft with emotion. "But at the same time, it's surprising coming from someone with your bad boy aura."
I feigned offense, placing a hand over my heart in mock indignation. "Are you implying that I'm incapable of being romantic?" I joked, a playful glint in my eyes.
Seori giggled, shaking her head. "Of course not," she replied, leaning in to press a gentle kiss to my cheek. "It's just... unexpected, that's all."
Leaning back against the couch, I couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment wash over me. Despite our differences, Seori saw through the facade I presented to the world and accepted me for who I truly was. And in that acceptance, I found a love worth fighting for.
As Seori nestled closer to me, her head resting gently on my chest, I couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment wash over me. The warmth of her presence was comforting, and I found myself relaxing into her embrace.
Glancing down, I noticed that her hair was still slightly damp from the shower. An idea formed in my mind, and with a mischievous grin, I declared, "Now it's my turn to blow-dry your hair. Last Saturday, you did it for me, remember?"
Seori chuckled, brushing a strand of hair away from her face. "It's fine, really," she insisted, but I was already on a mission.
Scooping her up like a child, I effortlessly lifted her into my arms, her laughter filling the air as she wrapped her legs around my waist. Making our way to the bathroom, I couldn't help but revel in the feeling of her in my arms, her trust in me evident with every step we took.
