—— Jungwon

With Seori in my arms, I navigated through the lively chaos of the racing house, making my way upstairs to my room. Her protests were lighthearted, her laughter echoing through the hall as she playfully wriggled in my hold.

"Jungwon, put me down! I want to go back and eat ramen with Sunghoon!" she exclaimed, her voice a mix of frustration and amusement.

Ignoring her pleas, I tightened my grip slightly and continued up the stairs. "Oh no, you don't. Sunghoon can wait. I need some time with my girl."

Reaching my room, I gently set Seori down on the bed. No sooner had her feet touched the floor than she made a dash for the door, her determination bringing a smile to my face. In a swift motion, I grabbed her wrist and pulled her back, causing her to stumble into my chest.

"Not so fast," I murmured, my voice low and teasing. "You're not going anywhere."

Her wide eyes met mine, a mix of defiance and surprise flashing in their depths. I used the moment to my advantage, backing her up against the wall and trapping her there with my arms on either side of her head.

"Jungwon," she began, but her voice trailed off as I leaned in closer, my breath mingling with hers.

"Yes, Seori?" I asked, my tone dripping with playful challenge.

She bit her lip, a slight blush coloring her cheeks. "I really wanted that ramen."

I chuckled softly, cupping her cheek with one hand. "You and your ramen. What am I going to do with you?"

Before she could respond, I closed the distance between us and pressed my lips to hers, capturing her mouth in a tender yet passionate kiss. Her hands found their way to my shoulders, clutching at my shirt as she kissed me back with equal fervor.

The world outside seemed to fade away, leaving just the two of us wrapped in our own little bubble. But just as the kiss deepened, we were abruptly interrupted by a familiar voice.

"Hey, lovebirds," Sunghoon called out from the doorway, a bowl of steaming ramen in his hands. "I thought I'd bring the Ramen Queen her prize before she decides to declare war on me."

Seori pulled away, her cheeks flushed and her eyes wide with a mix of embarrassment and amusement. I turned to face Sunghoon, unable to hide the grin spreading across my face.

"Thanks, Sunghoon," I said, my tone laced with mock irritation. "Your timing is impeccable as always."

Sunghoon smirked, stepping into the room and handing the bowl to Seori. "Just doing my duty. Can't have Seori going hungry, can we?"

Seori accepted the bowl gratefully, her eyes lighting up at the sight of the ramen. "Thanks, Sunghoon. You always know how to save the day."

He gave her a wink before glancing back at me. "Don't keep her locked up too long, Jungwon. We all know how much she loves her food."

With that, Sunghoon left the room, leaving Seori and me alone once again. She settled back onto the bed, cradling the bowl of ramen in her hands like it was a precious treasure.

"You really are something else," I said, shaking my head in disbelief as I sat down beside her.

She grinned, her eyes sparkling with mischief. "What can I say? Ramen is life."

I chuckled, leaning in to steal another quick kiss before she could protest. "I suppose I can't compete with that."

Seori laughed, the sound filling the room with warmth. "Don't worry, Jungwon. You come pretty close."
