—— Seori
As I took the medication and sipped the water, I felt a wave of weakness wash over me from the cold. Jungwon's concern was evident as he gently guided me upstairs to my room, his comforting presence a source of reassurance.
Once we reached my room, Jungwon tucked me into bed with the care and tenderness of a doting parent. I couldn't help but smile at his gestures, feeling grateful for his kindness.
"Thank you, Jungwon," I murmured, my voice barely above a whisper. "You're too good to me."
He chuckled softly, his eyes warm with affection. "It's the least I can do, Seori. Now, is there anything else I can do for you? Would you like some warm soup or anything?"
The mention of warm soup sounded comforting, and I nodded gratefully. "That would be nice, actually. Thank you."
With a gentle smile, Jungwon left the room to prepare the soup, leaving me to rest and recover in the comfort of my bed. Despite feeling under the weather, I couldn't help but feel a sense of warmth and gratitude for Jungwon's presence, grateful for his unwavering support during my time of need.
As promised, Jungwon returned to my room after a short while, a bowl of steaming soup in his hands. The comforting aroma filled the air, and I couldn't help but feel a pang of gratitude for his thoughtfulness.
"Here you go, Seori," Jungwon said softly, sitting down at the edge of the bed with the bowl in hand. "Let me feed you."
I hesitated, feeling a bit embarrassed at the idea of being fed like a child. "Oh, you don't have to do that," I protested weakly, attempting to sit up on my own.
But Jungwon was persistent, his expression gentle yet determined. "Nonsense," he replied, his tone firm but gentle. "You need to conserve your energy. Let me take care of you."
Reluctantly, I acquiesced, leaning back against the pillows as Jungwon carefully brought the spoonful of soup to my lips. The warmth of the soup was soothing against my throat, and I couldn't help but feel a sense of comfort wash over me as I savored each mouthful.
Despite my initial reservations, there was something undeniably comforting about being cared for in such a tender manner. As Jungwon continued to feed me, his presence a constant source of reassurance, I found myself relaxing into the moment, allowing myself to be pampered and nurtured in a way that I hadn't experienced before.
After Jungwon finished feeding me the soup, he set the bowl aside and I couldn't resist the urge to ask for cuddles. "Come here, Jungwon," I said, opening my arms wide. "Your little Ramen Queen wants cuddles."
Without hesitation, Jungwon climbed onto the bed and wrapped his arms around me, pulling me close in a warm embrace. I nestled into his chest, feeling the comforting rhythm of his heartbeat against my cheek.
As we cuddled, I couldn't help but feel a sense of contentment wash over me. There was something incredibly comforting about being in Jungwon's arms, a feeling of safety and security that I had never experienced before.
Lost in the moment, I let out a cute sneeze, which elicited a laugh from Jungwon. He reached over and handed me a tissue, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "Bless you," he said with a playful smile, his hand brushing against my cheek as he wiped away a stray tear.
Grateful for his thoughtfulness, I smiled up at him, feeling a sense of warmth spread through me at the sight of his caring gaze. In that moment, surrounded by his love and affection, I couldn't help but feel incredibly lucky to have him by my side, comforting me in times of need and sharing in life's simple joys.
