I SIT BESIDE JESSICA IN THE CAFETERIA. Bella places her bag down and glances behind herself and looks at Edward. He looks at her and I lock eyes with Jasper. I smile at him and he gives me one in return. "La Push, baby. Are you in?" Eric asks her as she sits down.
"Should I know what that means?" Bella asks. "La Push Beach, down at the Quileute Rez. We're all going tomorrow." Mike tells her. "Yeah, there's a big swell coming in." Jessica adds and picks at her food. "And I don't just surf the Internet." Eric stands up and Mike mimics surfing. I chuckle.
"Eric, you stood up once, and it was a foam board." Jessica laughs out and Tyler pulls Mike back down. "But there's whale watching too. Come with us." Bella locks eyes with me and I nod. She sighs before nodding her head. "La Push, baby. It's La Push." She bites into her food. "Okay, I'll go if you stop saying that." I laugh and grab my lunch tray, untouched as usual.
I put my stuff in the bin and get jump scared as I turn around. Jasper stares at me, with worry etched on his features. My heart beats quickly and I cover a hand over my chest. "How in the shit did you get over to me so fast?" He chuckles slightly, and looks at me. "You should really eat something." He tells me and I sigh.
My heart spikes quickly and my palms get sweaty. Fear travels through my veins. How did he notice? Please don't ask anything else. My heart beats quickly beneath my ears. A wave of peace washes over me and my heart slowly returns to its normal speed. I clear my throat.
"Sorry." I let out a small embarrassed chuckle. "I got lost in my own head then." I say and Jasper looks down at me. "Are you alright?" He asks me, gently. "Yeah, peachy." I smile at him. "Hey, we're all going to the beach down at Quileute Rez tomorrow, do you want to come with?" I ask him and he thinks about it.
"I can't make it tomorrow, but some other time?" I nod with a smile. "Sure. But I don't know when everyone else will go next." I say to him and he smiles at me. "Do you want to meet my siblings after school today?" He ask me. "Like go to your house?" Jasper nods his head. "I'd have to check with my parents, but sure." I smile at him.
"I'll pick you up at your house?" He asks me. "Yeah, I'll send you the address." He passes me his phone and I type my number in. He does the same to mine. The bell rings and interrupts our conversation. "I'll see you later." I give him a wave and walk towards my next lesson.

My black Mercedes pulls into the driveway and I instantly spot my mother's car parked in front of the house. I frown slightly, before getting out and locking the car. I walk to the front of the house, unlocking it and stepping inside.
