I GRAB LEAVES AND RUB MY FINGERS OVER THEM. I touch everything, to scatter my scent around, since I can't bleed anymore. I drag my hands over trees before walking over to the field where Jasper stands, waiting for me. "You're going overboard." He tells me and I flash him a slight smile. "I just want to be sure they come here." I lean up and press a kiss to his pale cheek.
Jasper takes my hands and waves of reassurance courses through my veins. I flash him a thankful smile. "Be safe, please." I squeeze his hands, but move mine away quickly, with the slight terror that my scent will be on him. I don't want him to get hurt because of me, even though that is most likely going to happen.
He sends waves of peace through me. "Darlin', you don't need to worry at all. The Newborns won't stand a chance." He gives me a reassuring smile. My heart flutters. Jasper's golden eyes stare at me softly before he places a kiss to my forehead and then my lips.
"Are Bella and Edward already there?" Jasper nods and moves away slowly. "If you want me to, I'll come with you." I shake my head, even though every fibre in my body is screaming and begging for him to come with me. It's safer for him with the Newborns because he knows how to deal with them, and Victoria will be coming for me.
"I love you." I say to him and his eyes soften. "I love you too darlin'." I smile, and the skin around my eyes tighten with my large smile. My eyes glow and my hands do also. I close my eyes and when they reopen, I'm standing in the campsite with snow surrounding me.
A beam of sunlight shoots through the white clouds and causes diamonds in my skin to sparkle. The sun is cold and my porcelain skin sparkles beneath its light. The snow glows from the reflection of the cold sun. The tent unzips and Bella walks over to me, she wraps her arms around me tightly.
"You're okay." She says, reassuring herself mostly. "Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" I ask her and she moves away to scan her eyes over my face. "You weren't there earlier, I was scared something happened to you." I smile at her softly and she shudders in the cold.
"Bella, you're freezing, get back in the tent." I pull her with me gently and close the tent. "Where's Edward?" I ask her. "Gone for a walk, he said he'd give us privacy since he knew you were coming." She shivers and sits down. "So...?" I trail off with raised eyebrows and a slight smirk. Bella looks down with a smile on her face.
"I'm engaged." She says and I clap my hands together with a smile. "This is amazing! Do you need help with anything?" Bella chuckles with a shake of her head. "We should focus on your wedding first." She tells me and an idea strikes my mind.
"I have something to ask you." I take her hands and take in a deep breath. "Will you be my Maid of Honour?" Her face breaks into a smile.
"Yeah! Of course I will. I don't know how good I'll be at it, so you might be better to choose Alice, but I would love to be."

I hold a pile of fluffy blankets that I teleported to me in my hands. "Is this enough?" I ask Edward and look down at the shivering Bella. She's freezing. The snow storm rages outside and I wrap Bella like a burrito in the blankets. "I can't sleep with all that teeth chattering going on." Jake unzips the tent.
Mine and Edward's head snaps to Jake's as we read his thoughts. "Forget it." Edward says to the wolf. "Yeah, you're not going near her again since that stunt you pulled." I fold my arms over my chest. "She may need her toes someday." He remarks to me. "Edward, you have a lighter, don't you? I'll grab some sticks." I move to stand but Jake stops me.
"What? You're going to make a fire in a flammable tent?" He asks with a scoff. "I'll chuck a force field around it. It's better than you trying something on her again." I exit the tent and the harsh wind hits me like a slap in the face from my father. Bad joke? My shoes push through the snow and I collect sticks in my hands.
The snow causes my curls to go flying around my face. "Let's face it, I am hotter than you." Jake says to Edward, I can hear it with my heightened hearing. I make my way back to the tent and let out a slight scoff when I see Jacob huddled close to the shivering Bella. "Why do I bother?" Edward hands me the lighter and I stack the sticks in the corner of the tent.
I open the lighter and light the wood on fire before encasing it in a protective shield, to stop it from burning anything. Head radiates through the tent, but it does nothing to warm my marble skin.

I excuse myself as Edward and Jacob start to argue on who likes Bella more. I grab my phone from my back pocket and click on Jasper's contact. It doesn't even ring once before he answers it.
"Tallulah, has something happened?" I can hear the worry in his voice. "Just Edward and Jacob with their bickering on who likes Bella more. It's unbearable." He chuckles on the other end of the phone. Snow flakes land in my hair. I sit down in the snow and lay on my back.
The cold doesn't bother me. Ever since I changed, nothing affects me physically. "Are you alright?" I ask the honey blonde and stare up at the cloudy sky. "Just missin' you darlin'." He tells me and I hold the phone to my ear. "I miss you too, Jasper. The second this is over I'm rushing straight back to you." I can feel him smile on the other side of the phone.
"It's really nice here with the snow. And the view is great, you'll like it." Snow covers my body. "You'll have to show it to me." I smile slightly and the moon peaks from the clouds. My body is longing for him, craving to be in his arms. I need to see him.
"I can tell there's something bothering you, darlin' what is it?" He asks me and I let out a sigh. "I don't even know, like most of the time. There's just this weight on my chest, that's constantly there, that's constantly reminding me it's all my fault. That everything that's happened and will happen is because of me, because I killed James." Jasper listens to me rant out my fears.
"None of it is your fault, if you hadn't of killed James, one of us would've. Victoria still would've came for us. It is not your fault." Anxiety is lifted from my body. "How'd you do that?" I ask him, my voice quiet from the shock. "I've been practicing my gift, because I had a feeling you might need it." I chuckle slightly at the words.
"So what? You've became my personal Xanax?" Jasper bursts into laughter at my words. I chuckle at them also. "Pretty much darl'." A smile breaks into my face. Wind blows my curls into my face and I move them away. Even though he's not here, it feels like he never left.
