52. I love you's- pt.2
"Sid listen---"
"NO. YOU LEFT ME WHEN...
I JUST WANTED CUDDLES!"Avneet facepalmed herself at the older's dramatic cries.
So, for all my lost ones, the thing is Siddharth apparently fell asleep on Avneet and Avneet had put him to bed and left to take a shower and when she came back, she was met with an almost teary-eyed Siddharth who claimed to have gotten the worst betrayal of the century.
Well, you know the usual siddharth-
"GUESS YOU DIDN'T CHEAT BUT YOU'RE STILL A TRAITORRRRRR"
-uhh, who loves to be dramatic, yeah.
So, now he's screaming heartbroken songs at the top of his lungs to let them all(probably the ghost in his room) know how he's been 'betrayed'.
"Okay, okay, it was my fault! I'm sorry." Avneet sighed.
"TRIED SO HARD TO BE EVERYTHING THAT YOU LIKED JUST FOR YOU TO SAY YOU'RE NOT THE CUDDLING TYPE!"
"Sid! You know I love to cuddle you!"
Siddharth faked a sniffled and glared at her. "STUPID EMOTIONAL CUDDLY little ME"
"OKAY, OKAY, STOP!" Avneet cried out, making Siddharth bit his lips from smiling.
"I ordered pizza for you, and this is how you pay me?" Avneet huffed, pointing a finger at Siddharth, who was now breaking into fits of laughter at Avneet's irritated face.
Siddharth smiled widely and batted his eyelashes at her. "I could've filled my stomach with cuddles, but you're incapable of satisfying me. That's why you had to retort to ordering food. Don't blame food when you just are -" Siddharth shrieked, running away from Avneet, who jumped on the bed, ready to tackle Siddharth down.
They both laughed while the younger chased the older around the house.
Both ended up on the couch in the living room, with a panting Siddharth under Avneet who was smacking him with the cushion.
"Okay, okay, baby! I'm sorry!"
"You better be." Avneet huffed. "You almost tore my eardrums by screaming those lyrics."
Siddharth laughed. "That I'm not much sorry for."he replied before rolling Avneet over and pecking her lips.
"Hello, my pretty girlfriend." He gave a handsome grin to Avneet who blushed.
"Hello there, handsome father of my baby."she teased back.
The older puffed his chest out. He was always proud of being Ishaan's father. Avneet laughed at him.
"Do you know Ishaan's teacher was asking about you yesterday?"
"Really?" Siddharth asked. "What happened?"
"No, you're usually there to drop him off in the morning, so she was shocked on not seeing you absent for more than a week." Avneet explained.
"Well, yeah, I guess I was a bit too busy the last few days." The older sighed.
"Yeah, c'mon, let's have dinner." Avneet suggested pushing him off her and standing up.
Siddharth looked up at her and raised his hand to clasp on the open palm Avneet provided him to get up.
They both had dinner over small talks and then washed the dishes in silence with low hum of the music in the background, sharing shy smiles and short kisses.
