Ep.2. Rehaan

Avneet Nigam.

Five years since Siddharth and her got married. It all felt like a cliche dream to Avneet but no, this was real.

She remembers how Siddharth got down on one knee and asked her to marry him.

Then she remembers excitedly calling her dad, Siddharth's mother, and Jannat about it late at night.

Rehaan Nigam their second son is now three years old with a very calm personality. He's only hyped at night which made the married couple tired as hell but Ishaan helped out even though they tell him to go to bed.

Speaking of Ishaan, he's now ten years old and in school doing better as ever. Avneet and Siddharth made sure he was okay before hopping into school and he was. He was as popular as his parents.

They still talked to him though, having Wednesdays and Thursdays as their talking place in the living room as a movie plays on the tv.

They didn't want Ishaan growing up thinking that his feelings didn't matter because they do.

Avneet and Siddharth wanted to be there for their kids with whatever they're going through.

Avneet heard the door open and two loud kids coming into the house with a smiley Siddharth.

She heard Ishaan coming up the stairs along with Siddharth helping Rehaan up the stairs too, Rehaan giggling as he tried running but Siddharth told him not to run up the stairs.

Avneet closes her record scripts and puts everything away, reminding her to do her work later. Right now, she's focused on her family.

They all walked into Avneet's and Siddharth's room, Ishaan and Rehaan running up to Avneet to give her a big hug.

"Hey munchkins."

"Mamma, hi!"

Rehaan greeted, giggling.

"How was school, Ishaan?" Avneet asked, patting his back and picking up Rehaan.

Ishaan shrugs, "it was boring."

A ten year old thinking forth grade was boring. Avneet has never heard of that before.

Siddharth chuckled, "That's not what he said in the car. He was talking about this gi-"

"Dad!"

Avneet raised an eyebrow at him, with a protective look on her face but she just shook her head, letting it go for now.

"We'll talk about it later about it." Avneet says. Ishaan sighed dramatically and looks up at Avneet, "Now I have to talk about it with mom. Thanks alot dad." Then he walks out the room with his arms crossed.

Siddharth didn't know whether to feel hurt or laugh.

"Bro mad?" Rehaan asked, finger in his mouth.

Avneet nods her head, "Mhm, ishu's mad." Rehaan frowns, "wanna go bro."

Avneet puts Rehaan down and kisses her son on the cheek. She watches as Rehaan walks his little legs to Ishaan's room, smiling.

She turns around and pecks Siddharth's lips, finally feeling her husband in her embrace.

_______

" ha, did do you remember our college days ? You said you wanted five kids but these two are too much to handle now, they've been fighting for a while now- wait why are they suddenly so silent?" Avneet said as she ran to the kids room, Siddharth trailing behind. Ishaan was now 12 and Rehaan was 5 but they would always keep fighting over things like any other siblings would do. And them being silent was like a danger.

As the door opened to the room, they found the brothers  laughing at eachother.all cars and games scattered around the room, pillow covers trashed and all stuffings laying all over the boys.

"Aesh, these boys, it's all your fault. Why do you get them so many toys Siddharth? You know they don't need so many  I always  clean up and you by them-" Avneet was cut of by a peck.

" Eww gross, mum-dad you can keep kissing to your room." Ishaan said as he layed on the bed back resting to the headboard of the bed,

" yes" Rehaan muttered as he also sat beside his brother.

" you two brats come here I'll tell you" Avneet said as she went towards the bed the boys immediately running towards Siddharth hiding behind him as Siddharth laughed at their antics.

" Siddharth get out of the way or you'll be sleeping on the couch for the rest of the month. " Avneet threatened as she moved towards the trio.

" No dad save us" the boys shouted as Siddharth got away immediately not wanting to sleep on the couch.

"DAD!"

_______

Siddharth and Avneet where strong enough to fight back the circumstances of life .

In past it neither was Avneet's nor Siddharth's faults it was all the fault of their stars; their fates. But their destiny has pulled them back together.

The two kids are the symbol for their love and strength which they have achieved together.

The fault of their stars was accomplished by their destiny.
