Epilogue 1.

Ep.1. Again?

Three years later

"Are you going to tell Siddharth after this?" Jannat asked her, while the doctor was getting everything ready.

Avneet groans, rubbing her temple, "I will but I don't know how."

Avneet shrugged, "I....would probably show him the sonogram but I also want to do it after we have that talk."

Jannat nods, the doctor getting the gel ready for Avneet's stomach, "Just do whatever that'll make you comfortable and ready." Jannat says.

"This might be a little cold." The doc said. Avneet frowns, forgetting about the feel of that cold ass gel. She vividly remembers how uncomfortable that gel was.

Avneet deeply sighs and closes her eyes, getting herself ready for it.

"You can rub it on me now." Avneet says. Doc did as told, gently rubbing the gel on Avneet's stomach.

Doctor puts the transducer on her stomach and turns the screen towards her.

"It looks like you're almost four weeks pregnant. What you're seeing is your tiny baby." Doc says, pointing at the screen where the baby is at.

The baby is tiny as a poppy seed, so tiny that you could miss it. The neural tube, brain, building block of the spine, and the backbone is already formed.

This is Avneet's very first time seeing her baby so early on at an ultrasound like this. She's seen Ishaan before but she was close to eight months pregnant when she first saw him.

But seeing her own baby at four weeks old on an ultrasound made Avneet tear up. She tightly shuts her eyes, keeping herself from the waterworks.

Jannat rubs her arm to comfort the parent, "You should be able to hear the heartbeat in two weeks." Said the doctor.

"T-two?" Avneet stuttered, smiling slightly.

"Mhm, two."

If that's the case, Avneet needs to tell Siddharth about the pregnancy tonight.

Shee wants Siddharth to be there by her side this time as they hear their baby's heartbeat for the first time.

Doc printed pictures out for Avneet to keep. Doctor helps Avneet wipe the gel off the latter's stomach, taking care of the female like she was a fragile glass.

"Okay, the baby is fine but this is also a time where you need to take vitamins for your pregnancy and to also not stress a lot. That's also what we need to talk about." Dr. Naina says.

Avneet nodded.

"Now, I know everything had been tuff in the past.....but the best solution is to stay positive. This positivity would help you, Ishaan, and Siddharth. I'm not saying that being positive is easy to do but trying cold help. It could also help you from being stressed out." Jannat said as best as she could.

"I'll try for my family but it'll take some time. Hopefully things will get better soon." Avneet said.

"That's what I like to hear!" Jannat smiled,trying her hardest to lighten things up.

"Now smile for me. Smile for your bestie Jannat." Jannat says, squishing Avneet's cheeks.

Avneet giggles, swapping Jannats hands, "There you go!"

Jannat really is something else.

Avneet puts the sonogram in her bag and stood up from the hospital bed.

"Alright, I'll see you later." Avneet says, going over to the door.

"See you later. I hope everything goes well with your talk with Siddharth."

Jannat said.

"I hope so too."

Avneet was still throwing up, fatigue, and having mood swings.

Avneet sighed for the thousandth time that day. She knew this was going to pop up.

She's sticking to her word and telling Siddharth about her pregnancy right now.

"Neet-" damn, it felt like Siddharth hasn't called her that in a long time but it calms Avneet.

"-I want to know what's been happening with your health. I
know you've talked about it with Jannat. You're also delaying your solo records, Ishaan was saying you fell unconscious in the elevator" Siddharth said.

"What's been going on?" He asked.

Avneet just looks at Siddharth and smiled. She reaches her bag and pulls out the sonogram pictures.

She unfolds it and turns it around to show Siddharth. Siddharth looks at it with furrowed eyebrows.

Avneet gives him the sonogram pictures, Siddharth taking it and looking closely at it.

It's clear that Siddharth has no idea what he's looking at. Though he is already a dad, but yet doesn't have the pre dad experiences.

Avneet chuckled a bit, shaking her head.

"What you're looking at is our tiny little four week baby." Avneet says, pointing at the fetus. She was so nervous, she wouldn't want the past to repeat but she thinks they are ready enough to take this new responsibility as she trusts Siddharth. And they where married now its been 2 years now. A baby was a gift to their married life and a sibling to Ishaan who waved now seven.

Siddharth looks at her in the eyes, his dark eyes tearing up.

"You're pregnant."

"I'm pregnant, Siddo."
