Mazoku (walking to Ishtar): Are you doing alright?
Ishtar: Yeah. Sorry for worrying you.
Mazoku (picks up his ribbon before tying his hair while his eyes are closed): That's the fourth time this week but it's worse than before. (eyes open being normal) You should see someone about that.
Ishtar: I'll think about it.
Mazoku (up close): Ishtar.
Ishtar: I will. I promise.
Mazoku (back away): Good. (start walking) Let's do a bit more exploring before logging off.
Ishtar (follow behind): Coming. (looking at Mazoku) So what's with your hair coming undone?
Mazoku: I thought it would be cool since I did return to my old killing self.
Ishtar: I think it's a bit extra but if it means it's a full transformation of your mind then keep it how it is.
Mazoku: Thank you.
(forest near the abandoned castle)
Ishtar: So you were fully in sync with your avatar?
Mazoku: That's right. I rarely do it in general but when I use that skill I do. I'd practice a lot so that's how I can still return to the normal me.
Ishtar: I see. (in her mind) Can I do that?
(sunset flat Souji kitchen)
Souji (after drinking some water from a bottle while wearing his comfy outfit): What should I do? (in his mind) I don't want to force Iris but it's happening on her main account. (hearing his phone ring) Did I have a meeting with someone?
(Bedroom)
Girl voice (from his phone after Souji answers): Finally you pick up.
Souji: It's been a month since I heard your voice Ruby.
Ruby (girl's voice): Yeah sorry about that. I've been busy training in another country.
Souji (sitting on his bed): I forgot you're in a different country. (notice) Wait you're calling me with your number right?
Ruby: Yep. I'm back in town. By the way, have you been practicing and how have you been doing?
Souji: I've been practicing in the kendo room a bit in the morning before class. Also, stop worrying about that other side of the past me. It's still part of me but I don't really reveal it. Anyway, two weeks ago I met a girl who lost their way.
Ruby: I've been reading all your messages. Your and her situation is completely different.
Souji: I know.
Ruby: I'm surprised you told her so much about yourself but I realize your tone is different. You're worry about something?
Souji: While playing with her this week on our main. Her killing side almost took over four times.
Ruby: What do you mean killing side?
Souji: Remember when I used to be one with my avatar while playing UGO?
Ruby: yeah I remember but you just acted the same cruel person.
Souji (leaning on the wall looking at the window): But I never worked alone trying to deal so much damage that I don't think about my hp or how hard I press my keyboard.
Ruby: Are you saying that happens during the time she's one with her avatar?
Souji: I only saw it once on her alt during class when Iris showed off her skills.
Ruby: Why not take her to kendo? I want to meet her.
Souji: Not a bad idea.
(night apartment)
Iris (lying on her bed wearing her pajamas): I forgot I haven't picked a side lesson. I think I can understand we have to pick a second subject for our health. (hear her phone vibrate) Who's texting me at this hour? (after turning her phone on) Thought so.
Souji's voice (while she reads the message): Want to come with me to check out Kendo? It might help.
Iris (in her mind): Kendo is all about using a wooden weapon.
(flat bedroom)
Souji (looking at his phone wearing a royal blue button shirt and royal blue trousers): Sweet.
(next day morning street outside college)
Iris (walking over wearing her collage outfit seeing Souji leaning on the wall): Souji.
Souji (standing properly wearing his collage outfit carrying his katana): Morning Iris. Sorry if I woke you up last night.
Iris: I was still awake.
Souji (starts walking inside with Iris): Have you already eaten?
(inside college grounds)
Iris: I eat toast on the way here. So why did you suddenly text me?
Souji: That friend of mine called me after we came off UGO. While talking I had this idea that you should do kendo with me to give your mind a break.
Iris: Why do you do kendo?
