(present next day morning)
Iris (in her mind after sitting up): He didn't kill an enemy gang. He killed one of his own members.
Ruby (walking towards Iris holding a towel wearing a white shirt that has short sleeves with a red star logo on the chest, red shorts, and her hair in two loose down ponytails): Did you wake up from a nightmare?
Iris: It's nothing. I think I got too hot last night.
Ruby: Go ahead and take the first bath.
Iris (while standing): You sure?
Ruby: Let's be ready before Souji this time.
Iris (grabs her phone before walking away): I'll try not to take so long.
(Souji room bathroom)
Souji (after answering his phone having a towel on his hip): What's up Ruby?
Ruby (from Souji's phone): Iris might be hiding something.
Souji (opens the bathroom door): Like?
(Bedroom)
Ruby: I think she had a nightmare. It's hard to explain but her facial expression looks like she just realized something.
Souji (in his mind): Could it be that memory from yesterday?
Ruby: Hello. Souji you there?
Souji: Sorry about that I was just thinking. I'll talk to her so don't say anything about it.
Ruby: Alright.
Souji (after hanging up): Trying to move on but things you try to forget will come back to you.
(Ruby bathroom)
Iris (in her mind while in the bath): Did that man notice the danger that would affect them later on? Or maybe he was too late.
When Iris got out of the bath to put a towel on her phone vibrated. After checking it she got an unknown message but before she could read it Ruby called her so she turned her phone off while leaving the bathroom.
(street building third floor VIP room)
Iris (sitting on a chair wearing her street outfit while looking at her phone): If you won't let your father out of prison you'll regret it. (in her mind) Who would send this to me? Could it be dad friend or a member of his gang?
Souji (walking in wearing his street outfit): Everything alright Iris?
Iris (hides her phone after turning it off): Yeah. Everything working fine.
Souji: I can tell you are hiding something. Before I opened the door you had a worried expression.
Iris: I wasn't trying to hide it from you. I wasn't sure when to bring it up.
Souji (turns Iris's head making eye contact): You can tell me at any time through text. Then when I think it's the right time I'll come over and ask you.
Iris ( showing a gentle smile): I'll do that. (notice) Where's Ruby?
Ruby (just open the door wearing her street outfit while holding a tray with one hand): Sorry for suddenly disappearing. (after closing the door) I was helping the staff because they were struggling.
Souji: What did you get us?
Ruby: Just a few snacks and each of you has two water bottles.
Iris: Thanks for bringing some snacks for us.
Ruby (smiling): Thank you for inviting me to watch you both play in the VIP room.
Souji (taking his coat off): Ready to win this?
Iris (taking her coat off): You know it.
(Universe Guardian Online plant land forest)
Ishtar (while running with Mazoku): This is surprising.
Mazoku (after cutting an unexpected plant monster): I know. A racing event to see who's faster in the new land.
Ishtar (throws a fireball ahead): What place are we?
They just jump off a hill before a huge sunflower plant monster appears so Mazoku throws a grenade that releases water before Ishtar unleashes a huge lightning slash with one sword.
(bottom of the hill)
Mazoku (Ishtar sheaths her sword after they land on different tree branches): We're first.
Ishtar (shock): Seriously. We're not even using our full strength.
Mazoku (cut a vine in half while going to the next tree branch): True. You could have used both of your swords to take that sunflower monster down.
Ishtar: However you wanted to try out some of your creations. Plus everyone who's taking part took different roots.
Bird player (above Ishtar and Mazoku after they landed on the ground): And at first place are our favourite duos and (after passing the finish line) our winners for the first half of the event. (flying up close) Is Ishtar the lovely Goddess Demon and her partner Mazoku the Demon Samurai! Why not give the audience a wave?
Ishtar (waving at the camera): Hi there. Thanks for taking part and watching the live event.
Mazoku: Remember to keep doing your best and support your partner, squad, or guilds. Make sure to be ready for the second half.
