Ruby (show Iris phone): Were you going to show your father something through Iris's phone? When I found her phone in your coat pocket I thought you were just holding on to it because she left it behind. So I took it to return her phone.
Souji: Iris got a strange message and she think someone from her father's gang sent it to her.
Souji's dad (when Souji touches his head): You should rest more. You've been asleep for a few hours.
Souji: I'll be fine.
Ruby's dad (after entering): The sleeping prince is finally awake.
Ruby: Hey Dad.
Souji's dad (looks at Ruby's dad): Thanks for helping on short notice.
Ruby's dad: No problem. If I need help you'll drop everything that's not important to help me. So it doesn't hurt if I do the same thing. (look at Souji): How are you feeling Souji?
Souji (look away): I feel fine.
Ruby: No you're not. You can't even stand on your own.
Souji (looks at Ruby with dim eyes): Leave me alone Ruby.
Ruby (after slapping Souji's face making his eyes normal): Listen here Souji Takanda. You don't understand how worried I was when I couldn't get to you two in the building. I noticed that you two changed after Iris took a big step. Why is that?
Souji: I don't know why I'm so overprotective. However, I feel like it's my fault that Iris is in that state.
Souji's dad: One thing that hasn't changed. You hate being the one who gets saved and I get that. However, if a girl decides to save a man like how Iris did. It means you're precious to her.
Ruby's dad (after Souji's dad left): You two are so alike. (open the door) Allow him to see Iris once he's feeling better.
Ruby (after sighing): Okay. (look at Souji after her dad left) Sorry for slapping you.
Souji: It's cool.
Ruby (holding her hand out): I'll help you get to Iris's room since she's on your mind.
Souji (take Ruby's hand): Thank you.
(Iris room)
Souji's mum (sitting near Iris's bed while seeing Souji and Ruby enter): Shouldn't you be resting a bit more?
Souji (Ruby helps him walk to the bed): I'm feeling fine Mum. Did Dad go back to work?
Souji's mum: He did. I'm happy you two are alright.
Souji (notice while Iris is asleep with bandages having her hair out and her headband off): Iris's necklace is gone.
Ruby (while Souji walks to Iris on his own after she stops walking): It must have gone missing during the chaos.
Souji's mum (looking out the window): It's getting late. I think you should return to your room. Your father left some policeman on standby.
Souji (pull the blanket up a bit): Is that necessary?
Souji's mum: Yes since you can't use your katana right now.
Ruby: Don't worry I'll be here. My father was kind enough to let me have a temporary room since someone needed to protect them.
Souji's mum (standing): I'll be back tomorrow. (touch Souji's shoulder) Try to get some rest. (while leaving) Ruby, I leave him to you.
Ruby: Have a good evening.
Souji: Ruby can you catch Iris?
Ruby: Okay. (turn around while Souji walks away) Wait. Where are you going? (in her mind after the door closes) You better not be doing something stupid with an injured arm.
(roof)
Souji (having his coat on his shoulder while holding his phone): You there Dad?
Souji's dad (from Souji's phone): Did you figure out something?
Souji: Did you take Iris's necklace?
Souji's dad: I had one of my undercover men take her necklace while in the hospital. It was so we could find the Blood Blossom main base. Forgive me for not telling you.
Souji (while the wind blows): You know that necklace is very important to Iris so make sure not to lose it.
Souji dad's: I'll make sure he won't.
Souji: You have too many undercover men in your squad.
Souji's dad: My squad is full of skillful people. I'll inform you what we find.
Souji (tone changes while his eyes are a bit dim): You better.
(three days later morning Souji's room)
Ruby's dad (bandaging Souji's arm): Some of your cuts have healed but some haven't. Have you been feeling any pain during the past two days?
Souji (looking at the window wearing his street outfit without his coat on): Only when I stretch my arm but besides that it hasn't stopped me from my training.
Ruby's dad (after writing a note on a clipboard): I don't get how you can still train with a sore arm. Anyway, you can leave today since there hasn't been any change to your health.
Souji (pulls his left sleeve down): How about Iris?
Ruby's dad: Her injuries are healing but she suddenly has a fever.
