Ruby (entering wearing her street outfit without her coat on): Could be the stress from what she's seeing.

Souji (after putting his coat on): You mean the continuous nightmares?

Ruby: Yes.

Souji: Do you have any news?

Ruby: Sadly I don't but while doing my own searching I notice I haven't seen any members of the Blood Blossom gang.

Souji (pick up his sword bag): I see. (start walking away) I'm going to see Iris. You can leave without me.

Ruby's dad (after Souji left): Did you get any sleep?

Ruby: I did. You need to worry about yourself more than me.

Ruby's dad: The job you decided to take makes me worry. I'm just afraid of getting news that you died or you get brought here with a serious injury that I may not be able to treat.

Ruby: I am being careful. However, don't forget you taught me how to treat people. Remember?

Ruby's dad: After asking me so many times. You're so stubborn.

Ruby: I got that from Mum. (in her mind while walking out) However, I don't remember much of her sadly.

(Iris room)

Souji's mum (looks at the door after fixing the flowers in a vase): So how was the check-up?

Souji (while closing the door): Ruby's dad said I can leave. (notice a katana leaning near Iris's bed that has a silver blade, purple handle with red inside, and black sheath) So you brought it with you.

Souji's mum: Her weapon was done yesterday. What do you think of the colour?

Souji: It's perfect but something missing.

Souji's mum (shows a red tassel after walking to Souji): You mean this?

Souji (after looking): Why didn't...

Souji's mum: I thought it be nice for you to add the finishing touch.

Souji (walking to Iris katana): Did you also get Iris a sword bag?

Souji's mum: Of course I did. It's right next to her katana.

Souji (look at the purple sword bag that has a red zip with a red strap after tying the tassel on the katana): A perfect set.

Souji's mum (see Souji touch Iris's cheek after changing the wet cloth): Do you have any feelings for Iris?

Souji (blushed a bit while surprised): Why would you say that Mother?

Souji's mum: What I heard from your father is that you care a lot about Iris. He even told me you were about to strike her father.

Souji: Can you please not bring that up?

Souji's mum (touches Souji's chest after walking to him): It's quiet but I feel your heart beating.

Souji: These feelings when I'm around her. I don't think it's true.

Souji's mum: It takes time to understand your own feelings so don't worry about it.

(night flat Souji room)

Souji (after closing the main door): Finally home. (in his mind walking to his bedroom while taking his coat off): I wanted to do my own searching but Dad told me to wait.

Ruby (knocking on the door when Souji was about to open his bedroom door): Souji you busy?

(hallway outside Souji's room)

Souji (after opening the door): No.

Ruby (wearing her coat): Let's have takeout for dinner.

Souji (putting his coat on while closing the door): Okay.

(street restaurant private room)

Ruby (sitting by the table stretching while her coat off): That food was delicious. Rice chicken soup is so nice.

Souji (sitting on the opposite side putting a chicken bone down): Once Iris is awake let's bring her here.

Ruby: We're expected to go back to college tomorrow.

Souji: I'm not going back until things are settled.

Ruby: Souji you're not serious about doing this alone?

Souji: The only thing I want to do is to take down her father's gang. Then I'll go back to college to wait for Iris to wake up. (look at Ruby) Why are you smiling like that?

Ruby: You've fallen for her.

Souji: Am I that obvious?

Ruby: No. To be honest, you've been hiding it quite well. It's just the tone of your voice is a lot softer and your facial expression changes sometimes.

Souji: I want to thank you again for all your help. I wouldn't been like this if you hadn't you know.

Ruby (smiling): I'm just happy to see my hard work paid off.

Souji: Can I still ask for your assistance?

Ruby: As your backup blade I'll be happy to cover your back.
