Souji: I'll pay for today's meal.

Ruby: No allow me. After all, I ask you to hang out when you just got released from the hospital.

Souji (moves his left arm): My arm was just covered in cuts and bruises. It wasn't broken. (look at his phone after it rang) My dad calling.

Ruby: Maybe he found some clues.

Souji (after answering his phone): What did you find?

Souji's dad (from Souji's phone): Actually this is a different matter. In two days I'll be questioning their leader. Would you like to be there?

Souji: Can Ruby also come as you know?

Souji's dad: If you are that worried about doing something wrong then Ruby can come.

Souji: Then we'll see you in two days.

Ruby (while Souji put his phone away after hanging up): What's happening in two days?

Souji: My dad is going to question Iris's father.

Ruby: And you need me to keep you in check.

Souji: I rely on you too much.

Ruby: You always call for my assistance when it comes to something important.

(hospital Iris room)

Souji's mum (putting red and purple flowers in a vase): I know it's a bit extra but I got you these flowers to add to your other flowers because they match your hair and eyes.

Souji's dad (after opening the door): Time to go home.

Souji's mum: Sorry for having you keep driving me from here to home.

Souji's dad (walking over): I don't mind. (stop at the end of the bed) How's Iris's condition?

Souji's mum (touches Iris's forehead after removing the wet cloth with no bandage on her head): Well her fever is gone. Tomorrow your friend is coming to check on Iris's injury.

Souji's dad: I know you've been carrying a gun with you when traveling to the hospital alone.

Souji's mum: Did you forget I used to work as a policeman? Also, weren't you the one who asked me out?

Souji's dad: Why are you bringing that up?

Souji's mum (walking with Souji's dad holding hands): I think our son is going through the same experience you had.

Souji's dad: It's not easy for a man to tell their crush their feelings. Also, some people don't even know their developing feelings for another person.

Souji's mum (looks at Iris while standing at the door): Since our son's feelings are dense. They both are going to be surprised when the unexpected happens. (in her mind while leaving) I'll be back tomorrow Iris.

(two days later underground prison room)

Iris's dad (walking into the room with chains): We meet again.

Souji (in his mind having his arm heal while leaning on the wall behind his dad holding his katana): Every time I see his face I want to kill him.

Souji's dad (after Iris's dad sat on the opposite end): You've been sending secret messages to your gang after being put in prison.

Iris's dad: You policeman think you're so smart. My right-hand man is taking control in my absence. (smiling) However, I heard there was an accident a couple of days ago.

Souji: Iris is still alive. You thought that plan could kill her but it failed.

Iris's dad: All women are weak and I thought she could be raised strong.

Souji: You think giving Iris a tough life would make her strong then you're mistaken.

Souji's dad: That's enough Souji.

Souji: He needs to understand that Iris suffered. The things you did made it hard for Iris to have a normal life.

Iris's dad: That's not my problem.

Souji (eyes dim after unsheathing his katana): Excuse me.

Souji's dad (mad while pointing his gun near Iris's dad's face): Listening to you not caring about what you did makes me sick. So listen to me carefully leader of the Blood Blossom gang. You will never leave this place and you'll be sentenced to death without no one knowing.

Iris's dad: They'll just pick a new leader of the main family.

Souji: Actually your gang will soon end (sheath his katana while his dad puts his gun away) allowing Iris to start the Sakura family name fresh.

Iris's dad (while Souji and his dad leave): What do you mean? (while the door closes) Where do you think you're going?

(outside prison underground)

Ruby (walking to Souji after coming out a door wearing her coat): How did it go?

Souji (leaning on the police car having normal eyes and his katana in its sword bag): We didn't get any information from him but we know that his right-hand man is taking charge. I even saw my dad point his gun out. I was wondering who would kill him first.

Ruby: I got a call from your dad's squad while you were talking to Iris's dad.

Souji: What did they report?

Ruby: The undercover men who had Iris necklaces found the Blood Blossom base.

Souji: Then let's head out once my dad is done calling someone.
