Iris: My dad has a gang so bad people he fought come to pick on me. I get injured a few times but I always win.
Souji: Not all girls are weak. Even though I wasn't in the right mind I sense that you wouldn't back down. (bowing) I'm very sorry I made your instincts switch.
Iris: You don't need to apologize. I don't blame you for that.
Souji (look at Iris while she stands): You sure?
Iris: I am. We should hurry to class if we don't want to be late. (Souji stands before picking up his sword bag) Don't forget to send Ruby's phone number to me.
Souji (surprised while walking with Iris): You were serious about being her friend?
Iris: Well. Since she's your friend I thought it would be okay.
Souji (touches Iris's head): I'm happy you accepting people I know.
Iris (smiling): Ruby is a nice person. There's something about her I like but I can't remember what it was.
Souji: Don't force yourself to remember. (in his mind) Ruby. I don't know how you do it but whenever you meet someone you make them smile.
(hallway)
Iris (after hearing a notification sound while walking): Is that your phone?
Souji (taking his phone out when they stop): Sorry I forgot to turn it down. (looking at a message) Looks like there'll be no class today.
Iris: Why?
Souji: The teacher said the computers are getting an update since it's been slow on some people's computers and it freeze.
Iris: I remember some people got mad during class but I thought it was because they were fighting a boss. (while her phone suddenly rings) Who's calling me?
Souji: Could be an unknown phone number.
Iris (looking at her phone): It's the hospital. (after answering the call) Hello.
Nurse (from Iris's phone): Is this Iris Sakura?
Iris: Yes.
Nurse: Your mother at the hospital. She collapses at work so her co-workers call us. (Souji notices Iris's shocked facial expression) Do you want to see her? (after getting no response) Hello, miss.
Souji: Iris. (after taking her phone) Hello?
Nurse: Who's this?
Souji: I'm a friend of Iris. I heard what happened so can you send us the location?
Nurse: Of course. I'll see you there.
Iris (after the nurse's hang up): It's all his fault. Mum is in this condition because of him.
Souji (shakes Iris after grabbing her shoulder): Iris we need to get going. Don't you want to see your mother?
Iris: But it's been a full year since I last spoke and saw her. I don't even know if she even wants to see me.
Souji: But you should still go. If you didn't care why are you reacting like this?
Iris (looking down): I'm going alone.
Souji (grabs Iris's wrist after she walks past him): No you're not. You need my support. I'll inform Ruby later.
Iris: Okay.
Souji: I know what hospital she's at. Can I lead you the way?
After Iris nods her head Souji lets go of her wrist before grabbing her hand so he can lead her out of the school building to walk toward a bus stop that's near the college.
(bus stop shelter)
Iris (while sitting on a bench): Maybe doing that was a mistake. If I didn't see those memories I might not have acted like this.
Souji (standing next to Iris): With my experience with the treatment. Going through the past memories will be tough but I overcame it because of my parents and Ruby. (look at Iris) What about you?
Iris: I have you, Ruby, and good memories of my mother who always made sure I was safe.
Souji (put her hand up making the bus stop): Our bus here.
(inside bus)
Souji (passes Iris's phone back to her): I added Ruby's phone number to your contacts.
Iris (taking her phone): Thank you.
Souji (looking at the window): Feeling better?
Iris: I'm a lot more calmer but I'm still nervous.
Souji (made Iris's head lean on his shoulder): Just remember we're here for you.
Iris (in her mind closing her eyes): You kind of acting like an older brother.
Souji (in his mind after noticing someone): Aren't those men from the Blood Blossom gang? Why would their members be out during the day?
(Sunset Hospital third room)
Souji (standing next to Iris in front of the door): I'll wait out here.
Iris (after Souji felt her grab his index finger): Can (while her handshake) you come with me? I want to introduce you to my mum since you're here.
Souji (grabs Iris's hand): Okay.
