Inosuke: It's called a target potion. The boss will keep attacking me until the effect wears off. That should allow you and the mage to deal enough damage.
Shuvi (before stepping away): You better make sure that chicken mage heals you.
Inosuke (in his mind): You're starting to sound like your main account when we first met.
Inosuke took the potion and the boss soon started to attack him so he was mainly dealing with surprise attacks. Shuvi summons two fire swords to deal damage to the tree branch while the mage summons a fire monster to assist Shuvi so he can focus on supporting Inosuke. After dealing so much damage the heath bar went to the third bar knocking the boss out right before the target potion effect wore off.
Shuvi (turns around a bit to look at Inosuke while her sword and fire monster disappear): Inosuke!
Inosuke ran out of the dust having another clone but after reaching the middle of the area they threw a shadow spike that hit the branch before spreading out into multiple spikes taking down the third bar. The ground suddenly shakes making Shuvi jump away before the tree glows black and disappears into the ground.
(middle of the area)
Shuvi (landing after Inosuke clones disappear): Why would the tree boss suddenly disappear?
Suddenly the mage screams before they notice the mage hp is gone saying he's dead. Shuvi and Inosuke were back to back waiting before something came out from the shadow about to attack them but they dodged forward making the stranger hit the middle.
Dark elf (standing): I was enjoying taking a nap in that tree. Who decided to wake me up? (step to the side after Shuvi unleashes a straight punch) Oh hello.
Inosuke (watches Shuvi get pulled to the ceiling after a vine wraps around her): Shuvi.
The dark elf charges towards Inosuke creating a vine rapier before unleashing a vertical slash. Inosuke did a cross block but the force of the attack made him go to his knee struggling to hold the block however he was able to knock the boss's weapon away before stepping away by using shadow steps.
Inosuke (in his mind using appraisal making his eyes glow): Its states are so different. Before it had more magic but now it (eyes stop glowing) has more attack and less magic.
Vines suddenly appeared from below but with one slash with one of his katanas, Inosuke cut the vines before he charged ahead switching to his assassin mode. When the boss and Inosuke attacked hit dust appeared but the elf was pushed back. In the dust, Inosuke charged to attack the boss dealing damage before splitting into a clone but after two more attacks, two extra clones appear.
Inosuke (in his mind): Don't miss.
Before the dust disappeared Inosuke and his clones put one of their katanas away so they could channel the last amount of his skill point into one katana. This made their blade glow so it could extend to unleash a diagonal slash.
Inosuke (in his mind after the clones disappear): I just unlocked that skill last week Saturday. It's a good thing I tried it on that day.
When Inosuke was about to drink a sp potion he was suddenly attacked by vines from all directions making his hp go from green to orange giving him a paralyse effect after his assassin mode deactivated.
Dark elf (standing while pulling its rapier out from the ground before all vines disappear): You got me there but once you're once your companion next.
Inosuke (in his mind being held down by vines while his eyes glow a bit seeing the dark elf boss hp bar): Just two health bars left.
(classroom)
Souji (in his mind): Since the boss is talking and acting differently from the other bosses we have seen. Is someone playing as a boss and if so how are we going to win?
Iris (head down having her eyes covered): Souji. Can I...
Souji (grabs her headphones after sighting): I'm not sure how long I'm going to be paralyzed but you can finish the fight for us. I'll take responsibility.
Iris (grabs the other side of the headphone): Please stop me if I act differently. For some reason, I can hear your voice because before I couldn't hear no one.
Souji: I will. I promise.
Iris (in her mind while putting the headphones on): I must end the fight quickly before (pupils become sharp when she touches the keyboard) anything happens to my mind.

Before the dark elf unleashes an attack on Inosuke a glow appears making the boss look towards the light direction seeing a fire orb. When the orb drops its shape changes covering Shuvi's body. However, an eating plant appears from underneath capturing Shuvi but the plant instantly burns.
Shuvi (fire disappears off her body while walking away from the burning plant once it hits the ground): You need tougher scales to stay alive against my flames.
Dark elf: So you and your companion must have noticed I'm one of the workers who sometimes play as a boss.
Shuvi (in flaming mode having dull eyes with sharp pupils): You must know who we are as well.
Dark elf: I do but this is the first time I've seen (at the same time charging ahead) this form of yours.
