chapter 008. i think we're dead

there was always a balance of good and bad in the world.
"and this is one of them...."
usopp screamed at her, "what are you saying?! and how the heck are you so calm?!"
[name] only nolochontly shrugged, watching the sky turn dark and going merry get sucked into the whirlpool. while nami, usopp, and luffy screamed over the wind about something, the [h/c] calmly watch her possible death take place.
"guys..." she said to them calmly, all patched up once more thanks to lovely doctor chopper, "i think it's better to stop complaining."
zoro agreed with what [name] said, "that's right. we're about to get swallowed by the whirlpool anyway."
"gyaaaaaah!"
the ship hovered above the black hole of the whirlpool as if time had stopped amidst panic. [name] gazed down to see some monsters get sucked into the whirlpool, diving deep into the bottom of the ocean. everyone began screaming, but she blocked out the noises entirely, focusing on the whirlpool.
but by the time going merry fell down, the whirlpool had disappeared as if it had never existed before and seeing it was a trick of the eye. the sea was calm and quiet, accompanied by the dark sky that was similar to that of a night sky.
[name] bent down to try and touch the water to check if it was actually there or not, and as she did, before she topped lover, zoro held onto the back of her shirt quietly and let her do her business.
she touched the water as nami screamed, "[name], get back up here! it's about to begin! the whirlpool has only disappeared into the seabed!" she looked behind as zoro pulled her back up with one hand as if she was a cat, "the knock up stream is about to star, hold on tight everyone!"
"zoro, is that..."
luffy trailed off as he stared into the distance, looking at the small raft that was made out of little budget. [name] held the railings after zoro put her down and she looked closer, and saw...the same man that had shouted something about dreams earlier.
"straw hat luffy!"
[name] blinked, turning to her captain, "um, he's calling you, captain."
"yeah...i have no idea who the heck he is, though."
