[ my name is... ]

it was cramped.
[name] was forever thankful that she didn't have claustrophobia because, with the tight space of the little barrel she hid in, it felt like she was being crushed inside of a tight hug from a fluffy bear. still, instead of fur, sharp nails were embedded into the wooden planks and her eye was only a centimeter away from its sharp end.
oh boy.
strangely enough though, she wasn't flinching or stared blankly at the end, almost as if she was picking a fight with it. 'yeah, come at me!' was what it felt like, but her mind was, at the moment, clouded by something else, so much so that she didn't even realize that if she moved an inch, her eye would probably start bleeding.
meh.
all in a day's work, she supposes.
but then again...maybe she regrets getting onto the anonymous sailor's ship and taking refuge in a tight and closed space. she could have chosen better hiding places, but she wasn't about to risk her face getting seen by the marines...well, they wouldn't recognize her anyway.
wait...then why am i hiding in the first place?
a stupid question with a stupid answer.
she really should start thinking before doing stupid things now.
let's...get out of here-
"brother?!"
a loud and obnoxious scream came from the people just on the other side of the barrier around her. the ship began to shake viciously and she dug herself inside further, emotionless eyes peeking through the small hole that was present on the side of her head.
people.
there were people on the boat.
peeking through and listening into their conversation with her sharp ears, she spotted the first person who sat on the railings near the head of the ship. she could barely see through it, but she saw well enough to realize it was a boy with red clothes, and a straw hat resting on his head. he seemed to be responding to the question that the people on the boat screamed, "yup, he's my brother!"
a man walked up in front of him and covered his figure from where [name] was peeking through; [name] took notice of his odd clothes which almost made him seem like a woman, but his deep voice indicated that he was anything but a woman, "well, i'm not surprised you have a brother." wait, was that...swords resting on the side of his waist? "but why is he here in the grand line?"
