chapter 012. at the strike of lightning

the first thing [name] saw when she opened her eyes was, surprisingly, zoro's face.
with her eyes slowly fluttering open, zoro's mouth parted in shock, seeing her wake up after she had sustained heavy injuries, "[name]!!" she turned her face to him, seeing him lean over her body, "are you okay?!"
"...z...oro?" she muttered confusedly, slowly stumbling up to sit despite her injuries.
"oi, don't get up!! you'll bleed through!" she looked down to where she had gotten attacked earlier, now that she recalls. her shirt was barely in its place, the strap cut off to reveal her bandaged-up left breast where she had sustained the heaviest damage. "i did rough handiwork! it's obviously not enough!"
"..."
oh, robin was here too.
and nami as well?
what the heck went down the entire time she was unconscious? how did nami of all people get here?
zoro lifted her up with a hand on her back, "you good?"
[name] could only nod quietly, before looking around to see where she was. she was still back at the ruins, but with a bunch of new stuff. the giant snake was here, gan fall and his bird creature, nami, zoro, robin, and a dark-skinned guy with tattoos and a bazooka in his hand.
wait...where was chopper?
she immediately asked, looking around in worry, "where is chopper? is he okay?"
"hey hey, calm down..." zoro held her shoulder to make her stop moving, "chopper...chopper is fine, at least i hope so." he pointed to the giant snake that was moving around, "he's inside that thing, along with luffy."
[name] deadpanned at him, "...how is being inside a snake's stomach called being 'fine'?"
they both looked at each other in silence.
"..."
"..."
"...uhh..."
[name] couldn't give much of a reaction and just looked down, clutching her wounds before standing up on her own. zoro started to panic again, "oi, i said don't move! your wounds will open u-"
