emptiness.
numbness.
darkness.
[name] was quick to realize she was sleeping, feeling the emptiness and silence of the room she was in. it felt as if she was drowning, but there was nothing to claw at or even look at once she pulled her mind out of her subconsciousness.
she wanted to move, but her hands were numb and she couldn't claw at anything. disconnected - that was how it felt. it felt like her mind was separate from her body, and as if she was blinded by something.
ignoring the suffocating air in the place she was in, she forced her body to listen to her command and pulled at the thick chains that entrapped her body, but once again, nothing.
she could tell her body was bleeding - arms sprawled out and back against the wall with chains tied against her wrists, a thick collar around her neck, and something blindfolding her eye. trying to focus on one finger alone, once she tried to move it...she realized that her palms, arms, and shoulders were held against a metal wall with knives pierced in her flesh.
she heard heavy footsteps walk into the room, along with a chilling precense of a man, "awake?"
she thanked whoever tied her up for not covering her mouth, "not much of a heavy sleeper, yeah."
a heavy chuckle followed next, "man, you're so sarcastic for a woman who has cold eyes..." the footsteps halted in front of her face, and she raised it as if she was actually seeing the mysterious CP9 agent's face, "well, do inform me of your current state. how are you feeling? in pain?"
he gripped the knife that was in her palm and began rattling it, the sound of flesh and the sight of blood making him lick his lips, "you must be. if not, at least your body should be entirely numb. devil fruit users tend to find themselves getting weak once they're in contact with sea prism stone."
oh...this could work in her favor.
these guys were under the impression that she was a devil fruit user, weren't they?
