"what...happened to you?"
lying before [name] was a squeaky smooth sanji that almost resembled a balloon. his face was bloodied and bruised, but every other part of him was shiny like a freshly washed plate - or a freshly bathed luffy after he hadn't bathed for a week.
sanji groans, forcing himself to turn to her despite the massive pain that must be coursing through his body. even if he was in pain, he sounded happy once he saw [name] arrive back to the main crew safely, "[n-name]-chan!"
his breathing was sporadic and wheezy, and as he tried to get up, she bent down and pushed on his shoulder, "stay still, you shouldn't move right now..."
his body was all slippery and weird, even with her grip it felt like she was trying to grip jelly. "what happened? where's everyone else?"
"w-we got separated..." sanji tried to fill her in so far, "nami-swan is on the second floor, fighting a CP9 female agent. chopper is dealing with another one...i don't know about marimo or usopp, but luffy was running around everywhere and probably got lost."
he suddenly tried to grab her hand, but he couldn't, so he instead placed his hand on her wrist, where her black wristbands were, "[name]-chan, w-we need to collect all the keys for robin-chwan's handcuffs. c-could you do us a favor and get to marimo when you do? t-that idiot got his hands cuffed with usopp..."
she sighed underneath her scarf, "of course he did."
sanji was lightly chuckling, [name] smiled at him, "i'll get to zoro and usopp for now, captain is probably on his way to robin in the meantime. i'll head for robin as soon as i'm done."
he flashed her a thumbs-up.
patting his head lightly for a high five - because zoro kept scolding her for her harsh high fives - she slowly got up, "i'll try to find them as soon as i can. stay safe, sanji."
"good luck, [name]-chan."
with one last look towards the slimy blonde cook, she rushed down the hallway with loud footsteps. as she ran, she soon realized that this place was a lot like a maze. the hallways seemed to go on forever, with windows with bars separating different pathways, and dark blue bricks all around the place.
getting lost in this place seemed like a normal practice, even more normal for members of her crew.
they either got separated to face off the CP9 agents on their own, or they got lost and didn't wish to admit it.
