[ we trust you! ]

"set the sails!"

when the boat takes off from the shore, [name] is glad that they are back on the seas again, the smell of salt water and waves crashing against the boat setting her calm all over.

and off from water seven we go.

the breeze was stronger than before and [name] knew that was a bad sign. indeed it was, because as soon as they set sail, garp's ship (mind you, there was a dog for a masthead) was closing in on them. amidst the entire mess, [name] couldn't find the appearance of the sniper. usopp was still not here, and there was running out of time. how long would it take to just come and apologize?

it wasn't so hard, was it?

she couldn't understand pride, especially a man's pride sometimes. apologizing was a part of manning up, wasn't it?

nami and chopper looked at the captain with worried gaze, unsure of what they should be doing right now. "luffy!"

luffy smiled, "let's go then!"

"are you sure about this, straw hat?" franky questioned, noticing that the man with a long nose wasn't onboard, "don't you want to wait for one more person?"

"i did wait for him ever since sanji told us what happened." despite his bright grin, luffy's facial muscle was rather stiff. sweats were trickling down his temples and he tried to brush off his heavy heart with an awkward chuckle. it wasn't like the usual cheerful luffy at all. "i waited for him at the galley-la company's room the entire time but he didn't come at all. so i guess this is his answer. but well, i'm sure he will be okay and have fun on his own! he probably will still be a pirate so we'll get to see him on the ocean someday!"

he was obviously disappointed.

they all were.

and the marines were already here, there was no time to wait. a cannonball shot straight for them, missing the ship and instead sank into the water, rocking the ship through the waves.

"hey, luffy! can you hear me?" garp yelled into the microphone, "this is your beloved grandpa speaking! things happened and i'll need you all to drown here."

"what?!!"

"my bad, butterfly girl! but i will need you to take care of my idiot grandson in the next life. i can't make up for it but i will send you guys off with my own hands."
