chapter 008. sacrificial altar

[ zoro, are you secretly a monkey? ]

it seems that trouble was the middle name of the straw hat pirates.

straw trouble hat pirates.

[name] remained seated on the ship, gazing at the white sea monsters that dragged the crew far away from luffy, usopp, and sanji who were gone to visit conis' house for something [name] didn't pay attention to again.

but she did know that the white berets had tried to attack luffy and the crew after they broke (she didn't know how many) laws of the sky islands and were now on death row. so after the monster trio defeated those berets that were sliding off a small road of cloud that they made of a dial, a bunch of stuff happened and now, a shrimp was carrying going merry and was on its way to the sacrificial altar of the god of this place or something.

like she said, she didn't care.

with the wind flying along with her scarf, she watched the sea monsters follow not far behind them with their mouths open. they were stuck; if they even tried to fight back and somehow defeated the crab, those sea monsters would eat them and merry would get destroyed.

nami cried her saviors' names, "luffy! usopp!! sanji-kun!"

[name] stared blankly at the navigator, "look at the bright side. we're going on a field trip to get sacrificed to some god."

nami screamed at her in anger, "how is that a good thing?!"

chopper had no idea how zoro and [name] were so calm, he was panicking the heck out of himself...!

zoro sat down at the corner of the ship, ignoring nami who was sobbing while hugging chopper, crying about becoming god food or something.

[name] had stars around her and zoro sweatdropped again, looking away from cleaning his three katanas. "why the heck are you looking happy?"

she looked at him, eyes still blank, "we're on a field trip!"

"we're not on a field trip, you idiot."

she brushed off the part where he called her an idiot and sat down at a distance from him, legs crossed chin buried into her scarf, mouth not visible as usual. he looked away from cleaning his blades once more and saw her stare at his swords as if she wanted to ask him a question but was holding herself back.

zoro sighed, "what is it?"

"hm?"

"you have that look on your face, whenever you want to say something. just say it instead of looking at me like that."
