"You alright, older brother?" Luhan asked as Xiumin stood up with a little shrug. "I'm alright," he answered, brushing off the dirt from his fur. Luhan sat down, watching his older brother follow his father back to the icy habitat he called home. "You shouldn't worry," Mother reassured Luhan, sensing his concern. "But how can a flight wolf be so mean to everyone?" Luhan asked, his eyes filled with confusion. "Well, he took all the attributes from his dad," Mother explained kindly, trying to offer some understanding. "Darkfeather is built to fight. It's in his nature, just as it is in ours to be gentle and caring." Luhan nodded, trying to absorb the knowledge. He had never understood why Darkfeather, the big mighty flying 'gentle' beast, was so cold-hearted. The other wolves in their family tree feared him, and he ruled every battle with an iron paw. "At least I know now," Luhan said, a determined look spreading across his face. "I can't wait for the other siblings to arrive. Maybe they'll help him get around things." She whispered to herself. "I'm going to find my father," Luhan declared with conviction. His mother paused for a moment, her eyes reflecting a mixture of pride and concern. "Alright, my sweet son," she said, gently rubbing her nose against his side. "But remember what I told you about your heritage. This journey is crucial when it comes to being chosen to guard your future alpha." "Future alpha?" Luhan asked, his curiosity piqued. "Yes," his mother replied, her voice filled with a sense of anticipation. "Your electric brother will be the next alpha of our pack. Maybe you will protect him from harm and help him fulfill his destiny." Luhan was silent, his young mind trying to process all the information his mother had just revealed. The wind rustled through his fur, causing a shiver to run down his spine. "You okay, my little wolf?" his mother asked, concern etched on her face. "I'm fine," Luhan replied, his voice filled with determination. "Just processing everything you've told me." His mother smiled, her eyes gleaming with pride. "Take your time, my son. This journey will reveal many truths, and I have faith in your ability to navigate through it all."
