A few months later
Zircon was peacefully asleep under the shade of a tree when he was abruptly awakened by his cousin, Luhan. Confused, Zircon groggily asked why Luhan was there. "Luhan, what are you doing here?" Zircon inquired, rubbing his eyes. "Mother has been calling for you." Zircon's curiosity piqued, and he quickly got up, rushing over to where Mother was. "Are you alright?" he yelled from the bushes, concerned for her well-being. "I'm okay, but I have a present for you," Mother replied, a mischievous glint in her eyes. Zircon cautiously approached, his ears drooping to the sides of his head. He couldn't help but wonder what surprise Mother had in store for him. With an affectionate smile, Mother held out something small and precious. It was a baby. Zircon's heart melted as he looked into the tiny creature's eyes. They were a mesmerizing shade of purple, mirroring his own. "He's beautiful," Zircon whispered, his voice filled with awe and tenderness. "I'll name him Lay." Lay blinked up at his father with an innocent curiosity—a perfect blend of his parents' features. As if sensing a presence, Lay turned his gaze and locked eyes with Luhan, his older brother. "Huh? Luhan, come join us," Mother chimed, her voice warm and inviting. She carefully placed Lay on the soft grass, forming a cozy nest for him. "Meet your younger brother." Luhan's face lit up with joy as he walked closer to Mother and Lay. The bond between siblings was something he had eagerly anticipated. "Hello, younger brother," Luhan greeted Lay with a gentle smile, his excitement palpable. In response, Lay rewarded Luhan with an adorable toothless grin, eliciting laughter from everyone present. Mother felt a surge of pride and happiness, seeing her two sons bonding in such a heartwarming way.
