Thunder stood tall, his majestic grey fur shimmering in the sunlight. His voice resonated with authority as he addressed the assembled pack. "The pack of the next generation is coming together," he declared, his voice carrying across the clearing. His statement caught the attention of Blizzard "When are you planning on creating your own son?" Blizzard inquired, curiosity evident in his voice. Xiumin sprang playfully out of Thunder's front legs. "I will when the light wolf is born," Thunder replied, looking affectionately at Xiumin. Sunrise perplexed. "Why after me?" He questioned, his voice tinged with a hint of disappointment. Thunder smiled warmly, explaining, "I want Xiumin, Luhan, Kris, Suho, and the healing wolf to have some time to prepare themselves to be chosen as a potential guardian for him. It's important to give them this opportunity." Temptation chimed in. "That doesn't make any sense, to be fair," he remarked skeptically. Hourglass rolled his eyes. "To you, nothing makes sense," he retorted. "You're always looking for an argument." Temptation couldn't hide his frustration. "Stop acting like this, Hourglass. I'm just joking," he said, his voice filled with irritation. Hourglass realized he had pushed his brother too far and placed a comforting paw on Temptation's shoulder. "Fine, brother," Temptation conceded, and walked away, seeking solace in his own thoughts. Meanwhile, Zircon was contemplating the future. "Shouldn't you start with your own puppy, Zircon?" Hourglass asked, genuinely curious. Zircon shook his head. "Nah, I'll wait until the 10th month of the year," he replied, his eyes filled with uncertainty. Mother intervened. "But Zircon, a wolf carries a puppy for about 9-10 months. It's the 5th month now. You better get started then," she gently admonished. As the pack dispersed, Luhan observed his father, uncles, and Xiumin and Kris walking away, deep in conversation. He knew they were preparing themselves for the responsibilities that lay ahead. Luhan couldn't help but feel a mixture of excitement and trepidation about the future.
