Beth: Hey. I know it's been a while. I'm gonna be honest, I forgot about you. After the farm, we was always moving. But something happened. Something good. Finally. We found a prison. Daddy thinks that we can make it into a home

Vivian and Beth are shown running through the woods with walkers snarling after them

Beth: He says we can grow crops in the field, find pigs and chickens. Stop running, stop scavenging. Lori's baby is just about due. She'll need a safe place when it comes.

Beth stops raising her gun but it jams, Vivian swings her sword slicing it through the walker's head.

She spins around, bringing her sword around cutting the top half of a walker's head clean off. She kicks another one in the chest. She pushes Beth ahead of her and the girls runs through the woods.

The couple runs out into a field running through the bushes panting heavily

Beth: I woke up in my own bed yesterday in Viv's arms. Our own bed in our own room. I'm afraid to keep my hopes up, that we can actually stay here. The thing is, I've been starting to get afraid that it's easier just to be afraid.

They stop for a second but Vivian nods her head and they continue running through the thick bushes.

They fall down on the ground breathing heavily and exhausted.

Beth: But Daddy said something this morning. If you don't have hope, what's the point of living? So I unpacked my bag and I found you. So I'm gonna start writing in you again. And I'm gonna write this down now because you should write down wishes to make them come true. We can live here.

The camera slowly moves down from above hovering directly over the two exhausted girls.

Beth: We can live here for the rest of our lives.

NIGHT

The girls are sitting beside a small fire. Vivian stares into the flames while Beth shuffles closer to her, nuzzling into her chest.

Beth: We should do something. We should do something

Vivian doesn't respond as she keeps staring into the flames.

Beth: Babe.......we aren't the only survivors. We can't be. Your dad, Michonne, your uncle, they could be out here.

Vivian slowly tilts her head and looks at her not uttering a single word

Beth: Maggie and Lyla could have made it. Glenn and Anna. They could've.

Vivian moves her eyes back to staring into the flames, a lone tear rolls down her face.

Beth: Brian taught you how to track. You can track

She stands up to her feet giving her wife a look.

Beth: Come on. The sun will be up soon if we head out now, we can-----fine. If you won't track, I will.

She steps over the fire and grabs a ax stomping off into the dark woods. Vivian lifts her head staring after her before she grabs her sword, stomping out the fire and walks into the woods after her wife.

MORNING

Beth is walking alone through the woods, brushing her hair behind her ear. Vivian is walking nearby but not far enough away.

She kneels down and brushes leaves away, looking down at the ground revealing footprints.

Beth: Could be Luke's or Molly's. Whoever they are, it means they're alive.

Vivian: No. This means they were alive four or five hours ago.

Beth: They're alive.

She turns and walks away, Vivian sighs standing up and follows her. Later they're walking down a small dirt trail, Vivian sighs wrapping her arms around her waist peppering kisses all over her face making her giggle
