NIGHT

Tyreese is sleeping beside Lizzie and Mica, Judith sleeping right up against him closely. Grady and Carol are keeping watch above them.

Carol: You can sleep, Grady. I'm okay

Grady: If there's trouble, I can take the kids.

Carol: You really think you can help me?

Grady: I know I can. I'm Grady

They chuckle softly. He looks down at the others who's sleeping soundly.

Grady: Lizzie's been asking me if there'll be kids there. Terminus?

Carol: If their parents kept them safe. Like you and Tyreese kept the girls safe.

Grady: Lizzie saved us. There were people shooting at us. She shot them. First a man then a woman. She says she didn't mean to shoot her in the head

Carol: She had to.

Grady: I know she did. She saved us. Maybe there will be kids there. Maybe they kept their parents safe.

Carol: Yeah.

Grady: Did you ever considering having more kids besides Sophia?

Carol: She was sweet. She didn't have a mean bone in her body

Grady: I beg to differ on that comment but whatever. Do you miss her?

Carol: Every day.

Grady: I still miss my niece every day.

Carol: What was her name?

Grady: Claire. (smirks) Would you miss me?

Carol: I'm not gonna have to miss you. You're dead on your feet. Go get some rest.

Grady: Yeah sure

He stands up and looks down at her.

Grady: We'll see them again someday

He walks down the embankment as Carol exhales looking out into the darkness.

DAY

Carol is applying tree sap to a cut on Tyreese's forearm as he winces slightly in pain.

Carol: It hurts, right?

Tyreese: Oh yeah. It hurts.

Carol: This will fight the infection. Might even bring down the fever.

Grady turns his head down the tracks keeping an eye on Lizzie and Mica who has Judith in her arms.

Grady: What do you think? Three days out? Four days?

Carol: We haven't seen any of those maps at the crossings. I'm not sure.

She begins slowly wrapping gauze around his forearm.

Tyreese: Lizzie's tough.

Carol: When it comes to people.

Tyreese: What do you mean?

Grady: You haven't seen it, Ty

Tyreese looks at him then moves his eyes between him and Carol, confused.

Carol: How's she confused about them, the walkers. She doesn't see what they are. She thinks they're just different.

They look down the tracks towards Lizzie. Mica is swaying Judith side to side in her arms.

Tyreese: Mica the same way?

Grady: Not that I see.

Carol: She's worse. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body.
