ALLEY
A shot of the dumpster and the empty alley. A hand crawls out from under the dumpster then Brian peeks his head out crawling out from under and stands up to his feet.
He looks around the empty alley and chuckles happily
Brian: Woooo!! I am the luckiest motherfucker in the world!!
Glenn: BRIAN!! BRIAN!!
Brian turns his head seeing Glenn running down the alleyway, the friends meet in a brotherly embrace
Brian: What the hell happened to you, man?
Glenn: Laid low in a bathroom of all places. Nik?
Brian sighs shaking his head sadly.
Brian: Didn't make it.
He leans down and grabs his handgun stuffing it in the back waistband of his pants.
Hey, heads up!
They look up as two bottles of water are thrown down from the rooftop. They see Enid standing on the edge of the roof
Glenn: Enid?
Brian reaches down under the dumpster and grabs his pack. They crawl inside an open window inside the building.
Brian trips and falls on the floor making a large clattering sound
Brian: Sorry, my bad.
They look around the room, shelves all around with different things stacked on them.
Brian: Enid?
Glenn: What are you doing out here?
Enid: There's another water bottle in the corner.
Enid's voice is coming from somewhere in the building.
Enid: Just take it and go.
The two men slowly makes their way across the room, looking around the room and listening for Enid's voice.
Glenn kneels down grabbing the water bottle. Brian looks down seeing empty food cans and wrappers littering the floor.
Brian: You're not gonna answer us, are you?
Enid doesn't respond
Brian: ANSWER ME, DAMN IT!!
Enid: BITE ME!!
Brian rolls his eyes, mumbling angerily under his breath. Glenn snickers
Brian: What?
Glenn: Nothing. You're make a kick ass dad one day
Brian: Ah bite me
He turns around and looks around the room still mumbling under his breath.
Glenn: What happened in Alexandria? We heard that sound. The gunfire.
Brian: ENID!!
Enid: What happened is always what happens.
They move their eyes up hearing her on the floor above them.
Enid: People died.
Glenn: The herd broke through the walls?
Enid: What herd?
Brian and Glenn looks at each other in confusion.
Brian: The walkers, duh? They broke out of the quarry early. We got on them but that sound, the air horn, what was that?
Enid: It was people
Brian's eyes widens in horror and shock.
Enid: You should go.
