The scene fades in at dead bodies laid out on the ground having been thrown off the roof above. One of the bodies fingers begin twitching and growling becoming a walker.
Carlson looks over the edge of the roof down below at the bodies. A soldier raises a radio antenna and hands Carlson a walkie
Carlson: Home Fire 1, this is Open Ranger. Do you copy?
In his office, Solomon walks up into the shot and grabs the walkie talkie and speaks into it
Solomon: Copy, Open Ranger. Status?
Carlson: Location secured, brother
Solomon: The shipment? Files?
Carlson: We're searching floor by floor. The residents haven't been very cooperative.
Solomon: I'm surprised. These people have regressed into God knows what. It's like getting mad at a rat that can't tell right from wrong.
Carlson: Yeah, well, the small taste of some law and order will help them remember.
Solomon: It sure will. Keep me posted.
Carlson: Copy.
He holds the walkie out as a soldier approaches
Soldier: Sir.
Carlson: What?
Soldier: We've got two down at the east exit and two down on the fourth floor.
Carlson glares, clenching his jaw and storms towards the door and heads inside
ELSEWHERE
Brian peeks his head around a corner as sounds of gunfire are heard. He walks around the corner with Raj trailing behind, guns raised.
He leans up against the wall and looks around the corner then rushes to the other side. Raj leans against the wall.
Brian sends a nod as Raj leaps out and walks away down the hallway, gun raised. Brian turns the corner running right into Vivian
The two friends doesn't say a single word, only giving each other one of their looks and raises their guns up and continues down the corridor.
ELSEWHERE
Raj is slowly making his way down a corridor, gun raised as gunfire echos loudly
ELSEWHERE
Brian and Vivian walks side by side each other down the corridor, guns raised as sounds of people screaming can be heard.
COMMONWEALTH
Shaun is walking towards the trooper office
Aurora: Shaun!
Shaun: Hey
He sees Aurora walking towards him, smiling.
Shaun: I was just looking for you
Aurora: Yeah? Been doing a little more of the side thing lately?
Shaun chuckles, shaking his head, smiling
Aurora: Anything about your home?
Shaun: Not exactly but-----
Vickers: Greene!
A woman walks up to them and looks at Shaun
Vickers: You joining us today?
Shaun nods his head and Vickers walks away, leaving.
Shaun: Yeah. You want to have lunch later?
Aurora: Yeah. Noon at the diner?
Shaun: I'll see you there
