WOODS
Vivian, Brian, Maggie, Cami, Raj, Elijah, Shaun, Negan, and Gabriel are walking through the woods on the way towards Meridian.
Maggie: Take a minute then we're almost there. About three miles out.
Negan: You can't be serious. Daryl just told us to go home.
Brian: I didn't hear that
Vivian: Me neither
Negan: Well that's cause you two are natural born dumbasses who for some reason don't die
Brian and Vivian smirks, bumping their fists together.
Negan: I think he was being more subtle. He said they were armed to the teeth with lookouts.
Maggie: And Daryl knows we would never turn back.
Negan: How're you gonna keep going, huh? With what army? Gabe, Raj, back me up here.
Gabriel: Our people are about to starve. I'm not going back to my friends having failed
Raj: And no way in hell am I going back to Jen without that food.
Negan: Oh Jesus. At least admit what you're asking of us walking to our deaths for what, a sack of beans?
Brian: I rather eat a sack of beans then anymore stupid ass MREs. Those things suck.
Negan: Maggie's more interested in saving herself?
Cami goes to step towards him, clenching her jaw but Maggie shakes her head and Cami stops but keeps her eyes trained on Negan, glaring.
Vivian: No you're more interested in saving your ass then the people back at home.
Negan: Yeah cause it's my ass on the line, Princess!
Shaun: Mine too, asshole. It's both our asses on the line.
Shaun, Brian, and Vivian exchanges knowing looks with each other when they look behind Gabriel who frowns confused
Gabriel: What is it?
They see a walker snarling in the near distance through the woods. They begin approaching the walker as Maggie takes her knife out and grabs the walker's throat ramming her knife through the side of its head.
Cami and Elijah looks down sadly.
Maggie: It's Elijah's sister's best friend.
Cami: Teresa. She was just a kid.
Raj places his hand on Elijah's shoulder giving it a gentle squeeze.
Maggie: We have to get them.
Shaun: And we'll get em. I promise you that but first we need a better plan.
Another walker is shown stalking through the woods behind Maggie
Vivian and Brian gives each other a look
Brian: Well good cause we got a plan
Negan looks between them both and sighs
Negan: I'm not gonna like this, am I?
Vivian: Nope, you are not
Negan: Ah fuck me up the Goddamn ass
Maggie: Think we can find more?
Brian and Vivian both smirks.
