FLASHBACK
Solomon Harris is standing at the Whisperer border with his barb wire baseball bat slinged over his shoulder when a man in in white and orange armor walks up to him, lifting his helmet over his head revealing Dante.
Solomon: I don't care if you're new. I don't care what your past is. We all have a past. Some of us filled with annoying whores and disrespectful daughters. None of that matters now.
He turns his head and looks at Dante.
Solomon: You've done well. Fought like a badass. Now I need something more. Eyes and ears inside their walls. You're the kind of man they'll trust. Practical.......loyal.....smart. And Shauny doesn't know you.
Dante curls his lips up into a grin.
Dante: Where should I begin?
Solomon: Find some strangers and join them. Go to their gate. They won't turn you away. Make them think you're at home but never forget your real one. Also leave reports on the skin freaks as much as possible. Push quietly against their weaknesses until they crumble into pieces. Make them weak. Do all this, and you'll be rewarded when you return when we make them kneel. You'll live like a king when you return.
He curls his lips up into a evil smirk.
Solomon: You'll have a special place in the new world that my friends are building. Find out everything about Vivian Grimes but leave my buddies Shaun Greene and Negan alone. I want to make them kneel myself.
Dante: Yes sir.
Solomon: Also one more thing. Find out what you can about Maggie Greene.
Dante: Why's that?
Solomon: Because she has someone that belongs to me.
He turns and walks away leaving Solomon alone who watches him walk away as he dangles the bat down at his side
Solomon: Daddy's coming home, buddies and you better be wearing your shitting pants.
ALEXANDRIA-PRESENT
Vivian opens the door to the infirmary holding Coco in her arms closing the door behind her
Vivian: Siddiq, you awake?
The door opens up and Dante leans against the doorframe.
Dante: Hola, boss lady
Vivian: Hey.
Dante: Everything okay?
Vivian: Yeah, yeah, everything's good. I saw the light on. I wanted to check on Siddiq, said he's not sleeping much. What's going on?
Dante: We're having a hot romance. Didn't you know?
He chuckles.
Dante: Nah, we were just hanging out and he got called out. Something about, uh, Andy and Donna's kid throwing up. I didn't ask for the details.
Vivian: Okay.
Dante: You just missed him.
Vivian stares at him not believing a word he says but slowly nods her head gently rocking Coco in her arms.
Vivian: Mm.
Dante: Can I.......help you with anything?
Vivian: No
She slowly begins backing away but keeps her eyes trained on Dante
Dante: Vivian.
Coco begins crying. Vivian looks down seeing a knife in Dante's hand.
