ALEXANDRIA
Ian and Annabelle are laying beside each other in bed, back facing each other. Annabelle looks behind her towards him then inhales sharply sitting up and gets out of bed.
She grabs her shirt and slips it on making her way out of the bedroom. She walks her way down the stairs.
She kneels down in front of the fireplace reaching in and pulls out a scoped rifle. She places it inside her duffle bag. She stands up and walks towards the door leaving the house.
Ian steps into the frame before heading back into the bedroom.
ELSEWHERE
Eugene is sitting at a table fiddling with a radio when Rosita and Spencer pulls up to the gate in a car.
Rosita: Can you open the gate?
Eugene doesn't look up
Rosita: Eugene!
Eugene: Yeah?
Rosita: Open the motherfucking gate.
Eugene stands up as Spencer leans over towards the window
Spencer: Going out to see if we can find anything for when they come.
Rosita scoffs while clenching her hands around the steering wheel.
Spencer: You want to help?
Eugene: I don't believe I'd be up to that.
Rosita: Yeah sounds about right.
Eugene: I'm repairing this portable audio system for them. We'll have perfectly music player when they arrive.
Rosita: Who gives a shit?
Eugene: I'm dealing in certainties and I'm doing my part to give them what they want.
Sounds of cars approaching and coming to a stop outside the gate is heard. Spencer and Rosita gets out of the car. Eugene has a look of fear across his face.
Negan whistles walking up to the gate, his shadow is shown.
Negan: Dun-dun-dun-dun
He bangs Lucille on the gate loudly
Negan: Little pigs, little pigs, let me in
Rosita clenches her jaw. Spencer slides the gate open showing Negan and Saviors outside on the street.
Negan: Well?
Spencer: Who are you?
Negan: Oh you better be joking. Negan, Lucille. I know I had to make a pretty strong first impression.
Rick and Ian walks up towards the gate glaring towards Negan
Negan: Well hello there.
Ian clenches his jaw, eyes boring towards Negan in hatred and anger.
Negan: Do not make me have to ask.
Rick: You said a week. You're early
Ian unlocks the gate and slides it open.
Negan: I missed you.
A walker snarls between the trucks
Negan: Oh buddies, come on out here. Watch this. Calling it.
He swings Lucille across the walker's head knocking it down on the ground.
Negan: Ha ha ha! Easy peasy lemon squeezy! All right, everybody.
Rick moves his eyes around the Saviors until they fall on Brian and Vivian, Brian looks away hiding the guilt in his eyes
Negan: Big day
