CARL'S VISION
Rick and Judith are slowly walking up towards where Jerry and Shaun are laying down bricks down.
Judith: Jerry!!
Jerry: Sup, Jude?
He picks her up and hugs her tightly.
Shaun: Hey where's my hug?
Judith giggles throwing her arms around him as he lifts her up and hugs her tightly before placing her back down.
Jerry: Hey Rick.
Rick: Everything okay?
Shaun: Yeah just came for some of that butternut skillet cake for Paul and Gracie. I swear they love that thing more then me.
Rick: You both rode out from the Kingdom and Hilltop for dessert?
Shaun and Jerry shares a amused look with each other
Jerry Hells yeah.
Rick: You got roped into masonry duty.
Shaun: You know how Lyla is. One way or another, she's making you do what she wants
Rick chuckles
Rick: Yeah I know.
Jerry: Besides how could I say no to building the alter for the world's greatest couple?
Shaun: Are the two brides to be nervous for their big day?
Jerry: Let's do it.
They wave smiling at Judith and turns around going back to picking up bricks.
A shot of Rick, Ian, and Vivian shoveling as the sun shines over their shoulders high into the sky. Michonne stops and looks upward, a broken look in her eyes.
Vivian throws the shovel harshly into the ground, her eyes red from her tears.
FLASHBACK
Carl and Jenna are sitting beside each other in rocking chairs, Judith is sitting on Carl's lap while Carl has his hand laced together with Jenna's.
Carl snaps a picture of all three together sitting on the porch steps. A scene of Siddiq and Carl sharing a piece of candy.
A shot of Jenna and Carl planting a small tree, covering it with dirt. He places his hand on her cheek pressing his lips to hers as she slowly kisses him back
Carl: I love you, Jen
Jenna: I love you too.
They look up seeing Vivian driving a red car, she waves at them smiling, they wave back.
SEWER
Rick, Michonne, Vivian, and Ian stares at Carl's bite mark in horror and shock. Jenna is whimpering as tears rolls down her face. Explosions rings out in the distance.
Brian rubs Judith's back holding her in his arms, Lyla standing beside him, tears in her eyes.
Another explosion rocks out making Tara flinch.
Rick: I---I don't---
Jenna: W-when did----
Vivian: How----
Carl: It's all right. It's gotta be. I wasn't sure if you'd make it back before.......But just in case, you know......
He reaches into his pocket and pulls out the letters he wrote.
Carl: I wanted to make sure I was able to say goodbye
He grabs Jenna's hand and gently places the letter to her into her hand. She looks at him as a tear rolls down her cheek.
