Medications

You came home around 10pm seeing Miguel sitting and staring at the door.

"Miguel, I can tell by that look you didn't take your medication this morning." You grumbled, feeling a little too tired to deal with this, but he was your husband and you loved him.

"Where the fuck were you?" He grumbled as you knelt down and placed a hand on his knee.

"I was out catching up with some friends that are in town, I told you this morning and we wrote it down on the calandar and everything. Why didn't you take your medication?" You asked softly as he stared down at you with a cold face.

"Because I wanted to think clearly today." He replied as you sighed and stood up.

You straddled his legs and ran your hands through his hair.

"Baby, we've talked about this... I know it's not ideal but you have to take it." You whispered as he rested his hands on your hips and looked away from you.

"I can't have you leaving me..." He whispered as you slowly made him look at you.

"Miguel, I love you more than anything. I'm your wife and I promised to stay by your side, I'll never break that promise." You whispered, you could tell he was trying to not cry.

"I don't want to take them." He muttered as you leaned forward and kissed him softly.

"I know... It's not ideal, baby. But, you have to. It's just something you have to do and I'm here to help you through it... Always." You whispered kissing him again as he kissed you back passionately.

"Don't ever leave." He whispered as he started kissing your neck.

"I won't, you promise to take your medication in the morning?" You asked as he smiled and nodded.

"Thank you." You whispered before kissing him again.

"How about a distraction till then?" You whispered as he chuckled.

"Good idea, love."
