School Anxiety

You paced in front of Miguel where he was sitting at the table looking through potential schools for your daughter.

"We can't send her to a school, we can just home school her! It'll be better for everyone." You said as Miguel sighed and looked at you.

"Y/N, she will be safe at school." He said as you shook your head.

"No! No she won't be, Miguel! They'll say they'll take care of her but they won't and you know it! I can't let her go to school." You said frantically as Miguel stood up and stopped you from pacing, he gently held your shoulders and looked into your eyes.

"Baby, it won't happen to her." He whispered as you looked away from him.

He'd known your trauma had come from school, and while you'd dealt with it mostly it was still a scary thought sending your kid to the place of your nightmares.

"I've picked out some great schools, schools I think you would absolutely love. They aren't like regular ones, please just sit down and look at them with me?" He asked gently rubbing your shoulder as you nodded a little.

Miguel sat down beside of you and pulled up his laptop to show you three schools he had picked out.

"See? They're only four days a week and four hours each day. They work on an entirely different curriculum, it's more about supporting the kids then forcing them to learn." Miguel said as you looked through the photos.

"They look really nice... Safe and happy. I'm sorry about all of this... Just when I think I'm over it." You muttered as Miguel took your hand.

"Sweetheart I don't think you'll ever truly be over it, it happened when you were young and it stays with you. But I promise from the bottom of my heart that I was never stop protecting you and our daughter." He said as you smiled and looked into his eyes, you leant forward and kissed him softly.

"I love you so much."
