November 10th, 2023 📍Serenity's Car
"Hi bestieee." Serenity's best friend and Sekani sister Arianna dragged out as she got into the car.
"Hey girl!" She smiled back as she pulled off.
"I've missed you so much. We seriously need to start making more time for each other."
"For sure! I'm just so busy between work, your brothers shop, and trying to take care of myself too."
"I get it girl. How is the shop?"
"It's been good so far. Kani still has no idea that I bought it for him. I'm hoping to have it fully furnished by the time he gets home. It's close though."
"Good! He's gonna be so happy girl."
"Right." She laughed before they continued to drive to the mall.
A year after being locked up Serenity bought Sekani a barber shop. Being a barber was his passion and she wanted to be sure he'd have something to come home to that was legal. She wasn't losing her man to the system again.
"I need some new clothes baddd." Serenity spoke as they made there way into the mall.
"I already know he gave you the black card." She laughed at her bestfriends reaction before walking into PINK.
Serenity grabbed a variety of underwear and bra sets. Panties ranging from thongs, boy shorts, and hipster. Sets including sports bras, sweats, leggings, and even some slides. She loved to shop and could do it all day every day.
"Is this all?" The cashier spoke to both girls.
"Yes please."
"Total is 300.46."
"Thank you!" Serenity spoke for them both before they left and continued to shop.
Three hours later
After a long day of shopping Serenity was finally in bed and ready to sleep before her shift later that night.
Her mind couldn't help but to drift back to the very first time she met Sekani.
Flashback:
"We wcan work on it at my house if you want." A 13 year old Arianna spoke to Serenity about their science project.
"Okay. You walk home right?"
"Yeah. Meet me by the bike rack."
"Okay, bye Ari."
"Bye bestie!" She spoke before heading towards her next class.
An hour later the girls had met up at the bike rack and were now walking home.
"Serenity, this is my brother Sekani."
"Wassup." He spoke looking at her and instantly realizing how pretty the younger girl was.
"Hey." She smiled at him before continuing her talk with Ari.
"How old are you?" He questioned out of the blue.
"13. You?"
"14."
"Oh okay."
Before Sekani could respond Ari was being called into her mothers room as soon as they got into house leaving the two alone in the living room.
"You're really pretty. You have a boy friend?"
"I'm way to young and my daddy would kill me."
"That's true. Take my Snapchat at least."
"Sure. Friends?"
"For now. I can wait on you Ren."
"Whatever that means." The innocent girl laughed before being called up to Ariannas room and leaving him to his thoughts. -----------------------
