Serenity and Sekani both sat outside of their villa watching as the sunset. Their two week long baby moon was officially to coming to an end and it was a bittersweet feeling.
"Thank you again Kani. I am so grateful we got to experience this."
"You never have to thank me mama." He kissed her head and continued to watch the sunset.
"You ready to get back home baby?" She asked curiously. He hadn't talked about home much and she was unsure why.
"Nah. I like it out here just the two of us."
"I do too baby but what about our families."
"I mean yeah I miss them but I just feel like it's a lot more peaceful with it being just us."
"It makes me think of when we were younger and would stay up late at my house." She laughed at the childish memory.
"For real. It was like we were the only people in the world."
"I love you Kani. It's a real life blessing we made it this far and that we get to keep starting these new chapters together." She spoke her words genuine and gentle as she looked at him.
"I love you to Phat. It'll always be us." He kissed her lips.
