Enjoy this picture of my boyfriend and I on a hike (I got to see a waterfall).

It was like I'd blinked and the day was here.

Alastor and I were at the courthouse, hand in hand as the worker got our marriage papers ready.

Neither of us had any family and not nearly enough friends to invite to a wedding, so we're eloping.

It's easier this way, anyway. No planning and no excess money spent.

Giving his hand a gentle squeeze, I looked up at him with a giddy smile and he smiled back at me warmly.

"Would you two like to say any vows before the signing?"

Alastor's eyes widened slightly and he looked from me to the man and back to me, which only made me roll my eyes and smile fondly before I snatched him by the front of his suit and pulled him down into a kiss.

After a few seconds, we separated and I let him go.

"Is that good enough, sir?"

I cocked an eyebrow and directed my gaze onto the man sitting in front of us. He blinked and then cleared his throat before straightening up the papers and getting a feather pen ready for us.

This was worlds different than my first wedding. In that, I had a luxurious dress and plenty of guests, along with a beautiful cake and a large venue...

Somehow, this is better.

Alastor signed his name, and I signed mine next to his.

"Alright, you two are officially married. Congratulations!"

With the courthouse worker as our witness, Alastor and I were finally wed. It had only been about a month since he asked me to marry him, simply because the preparations of legal things needed to be worked out.

We were given a sealed envelope with our marriage certificate inside, and then I let out a slight yell of surprise when I was swept off my feet, my arms going around Alastor's neck as he held me like a princess.

"Wife."

He smiled at me, and I giggled and leaned up, kissing his cheek.

"Husband~"

And together we left the courthouse as newlyweds, though no one would suspect it. We were dressed in normal attire, and the only proof we had was a piece of paper with our signatures.

It was perfect.

He was perfect.

I couldn't wait to spend the rest of my life with him.

Energy was high when we got home, and the two of us couldn't seem to keep our hands off each other.
