After we'd arrived at V Tower, Vox lead me past a plethora of reporters.

I was wondering why he didn't just teleport us directly to this "private space" of his, but when the cameras started flashing, I realized he wanted us to be seen together.

He just didn't want the conversation he was going to have with me be heard by the masses.

After a seemingly endless walk to a very high tech elevator, the doors finally shut and cut us off from the relentless sea of reporters and flashing lights.

I looked over at him curiously, but he remained stagnant in his stance and expression, not once glancing at me.

Once the elevator dinged and the doors opened, I was being dragged again, this time to an office.

"Alright then, let's get started!"

Vox's voice nearly scared me death again since it had been silent for so long, and then the office door shut and clicked.

My eyes went to the obviously locked door, and back to Vox.

He motioned to a seat, rounding his office desk to sit on the other side.

There was a pounding in my head telling me that this was an extremely bad situation I've found myself in, but regardless of that fact I needed to keep a cool head.

You always need to seem as if you're in control... even when you're not. Alastor taught me that, and it has worked wonders here in hell.

So, I approached and sat, clearing my face of any expression so he wouldn't suspect that I'm quite scared.

Once we were both sat, he leaned forward and clasped his hands together.

"Now, I know what you're probably thinking... and no, I didn't bring you here to hurt you. Yet."

He tacked on that last part quickly before moving on, pulling out a tablet from seemingly nowhere.

He started showing me pictures of Alastor and I that were candid and taken from various angles.

"The Radio Demon has been missing for quite some time, as I'm sure you're aware, but now he's returned and lo and behold... a random woman appears that seems to have him on a leash!"

My eyes narrowed and I looked from him back to the pictures, about to snap and say we have nothing to do with each other.

But the words caught in my throat as I looked at the plethora of images.

Images of us...

Sitting outside the hotel, me walking as he tails behind me, or me just doing other business while he stood and watched from a distance.

In all of these, he was only looking at me.

My heart felt like it stopped and my expression fell.

Some of these, I wasn't even aware he had been there. Despite the way his image was distorted, I could clearly see his eyes set on my form, soft and unmoving from their digital prison.
