Poem 2: THE UNTOLD STORIES

204 27 8

In a realm devoid of air,
Drowned in depths of despair,
Those who hold the key,
Breathe tales to set free.

Stories often claim a mission,
Yet not all yearnings find fruition,
Happiness the expected course,
Sorrow's path a silent force.

Years past, a different stage,
Where equals lived unequally caged,
Integration but segregation's guise,
Freedom whispered in demise.

Legends sung through time's gate,
Echo through each state,
Yet hidden heroes, veiled in fame,
Their narratives not given the same acclaim.

Now witness the Untold Rise,
Epics unveiled before our eyes,
Each tale as grand as the next,
May this change never rest.
